75Great location and a great function venue. Another great night was had for our corporate end of year function recently. The staff, atmosphere and espresso martini were fantastic.
Can't leave a review on the food as we just went to this place for a drink. Anyways, service was top notch (very friendly bartender, gentleman wearing glasses who commended me on how I drink my whisky) which surely brings the atmosphere to that level as well. Truly enjoyed our time spent there and we will definitely come back. Keep up the good work and we certainly wish you all the success.
I went on a Saturday night, I liked the atmosphere, good music, the cocktails were good and the service too. The service was fast and they do not have a dress code.
Service was great but they let people smoke in there and we had to leave, our party couldn't breathe because of some selfish people.edit: This was NOT in the designated smoking area. We sat away from that area. Security said it was ok to smoke in there as we left. So we didnt return the following evening as planned.
Lots of Staff on a Friday night, security guys were firm but fair and unobtrusive. Staff went out if their way to be helpful. And the late evening pizza was fair priced, and surprisingly big, (I only had 1 beer all night), the most delicious Margherita Pizza I have had. Thanks to everyone for a great night.
Great place for a get together with friends with a huge range of tap beers. Saturday night was pumping!
Best chicken Parma in Melbourne! Was my second time visiting today and took my partner and kids because I couldn’t stop talking about how good my first experience was.food was amazing and so were the staff!
A massive thanks to Rich, Kim and the MP staff for a fantastic private function on Wednesday night! MP were accommodating, easy to deal with and fully committed to providing the experience we wanted. Thanks team!
One of the best. Has a great restaurant with lots of share plates and hidden from the main venue.
The main venue has music live and a DJ
Crowd is all ages
A fantastic atmosphere for young and old
Good value. Went on a Friday lunch time. There was an offer of buy one burger, get one free. Small menu, which is a good thing. The burgers were very good.
NYE party was a bust. The kitchen closed at 9.30pm and we weren't even informed about it. It's difficult to party on an empty stomach! Now I have 100 dollars worth of credit that will go waste becuase I could not get any food at Melbourne Public.
Had an Xmas function. Good staff, vibrant place, not sure about the food as only had finger food which seemed to be only a few types for the event.
Food was hot and fresh! If it’s Saturday night, though, you just need to be prepared to wait an hour or so to receive it.
I always come here for their Happy Hour, which is from Wednesday to Friday between 4 pm to 7 pm, where you can get selected cocktails, local pints, and cider pints for $10 each.
It's safe to say that we had 3 rounds of their amazing Espresso Martini and left very happy!
On another visit, I ordered the Mini Burgers served with cheese, pickles & relish. It was alright, a bit on the dry side.
I want to come back on Sunday as I was told they have their live band after 2 pm.
Really nice place! Dining area was roomy and not too loud. The fish and chips were delicious and well-priced, and the potato wedges were really good too.
After walking passed we decided to stop for a Saturday afternoon drink, We were very happy. Service was excellent, the vibe inside was great.
Great service. Reasonably priced drinks. Management very accommodating and helpful in organising a work function
A group of 6 came on a Saturday in September. Couldn’t hear the footy for the pop music over the top and key screens were showing some other sport, despite the place being full of doggies fans. We asked to switch channels on a tv but were told This was not possible. Food was ok but overall a bit disappointing.
Stopped here to eat while waiting for a live show at the exhibition centre. Great atmosphere, great prices and excellent food. Will be back next time we're in Melbourne.
