I can hands down say Prof. Vinay is not just an incredible surgeon but such a beautiful human! I have personally gone through a lot of gynaecologist in Melbourne for Endometriosis and abnormal cysts and I have not yet come across some one so humble yet so knowledgeable. I am unable to thank Prof. Vinay enough for reassuring me that their are specialists out there that do care and will be on your side until your feeling 100%. So grateful to have meet such an incredible professor. I would rate him 100 stars if I could.

I highly recommend dr Vinay Rane to everyone. Always smalling and happy. He provides necessary insurance about development of baby and answers on my questions. He helped me to go through my pregnency and assisted in c-section delivery. No mention about almost invisible scar, which was left after the surgery.

I found Vinay Rane to be very attentive. I was very anxious about my surgery. He was very patient and took the time to explain it to me so that I felt comfortable (I had many questions!) Cannot recommend him highly enough. Even in the days after the surgery, I knew that I could ring him (and I did a couple of times) and he would always get back to me. I had a great result.

When choosing an obstetrician we took advice from our GP. Out of a list of about 15 obstetricians our GP told us to look no further and go straight to see Vinay Rane.
Vinay has been like no other specialist we have seen. His bedside manor is amazing and his knowledge and background is second to none, a truly inspirational man.
Vinay was so attentive and really looked after us from our first appointment through to my recovery after the birth of our son.
He was always there if we needed him 24/7. You can tell Vinay does this for the love of what he does and that made him bringing our precious cargo into the world the best choice for us.
My csection recovery has been truly amazing And we cannot thank Vinay enough for everything he has done to deliver our beautiful baby.
Vinay’s EA Julie is also excellent, she leaves nothing to question has everything in order and is very supportive.
We cannot recommend Vinay, Christine and Julie highly enough from Melbourne Mothers.

For Vinay Rane - poor experience.dint even listen to patient (busy in his chatting or laptop), due to which he do not answer all questions. He forgets patient's details; different medical judgements for same patient every visit; no proper communication/answers given ever.wondering if paid reviews are displayed here.

The staff are wonderful and the care I have received throughout my pregnancy has been amazing. Would highly recommend A/Prof Vinay Rane to anyone.

Professor Rane is a legend. If you need your utereus tasered, he is the go-to guy. Seriously though, he and Julie are caring and supportive and I received the best of care at a very painful and difficult time. He always has time for a smile and a joke, makes you feel warm and welcome and is an amazingly skilled surgeon.

If CARE could be bottled it would be labeled Asoc/ Professor Vinay Rane. What an amazing specialist and personable human being! My gynaecological concerns were totally alleviated today with a follow up in November. Thank you so much for your holistic care and passionate commitment to ensure that your patients receive immediate treatment if this is required. I skipped down the road after our consultation today. A/Prof Rane is a fantastic OBGYN. He was very friendly and relaxed during all my pregnancy appointments, regarding C-section/natural and pain relief in labour he never pressured/suggested I do anything apart from what made me feel comfortable – he regularly said “I’m here to help you. You’re the boss and we do whatever you want”. I had a really good labour experience with Dr Rane and would absolutely recommend him to others and will see him again.

A/Prof Rane was an excellent ObGyn to support us through the birth of our first child. His openness and genuine personality meant all our questions/concerns were always addressed in a friendly manner. Throughout the pregnancy and birth he empowered us to make decisions by giving us information with no pressure, such a rare skill from any doctor.

I couldn’t be happier with the exceptional standard of care I received from A/Prof Rane throughout my pregnancy and post delivery. My post C-section recovery was very smooth and speedy, with minimum pain and scarring. I was back on my feet in no time, and as early as 3 weeks out from the delivery the scar was barely visible. A/Prof Rane genuinely cares about his patients and is always (around the clock) available and responsive to their needs and concerns. The wonderful team at Melbourne Mothers also provide a lot of flexibility with appointment times which is very helpful for working patients. I would highly recommend A/Prof Rane and couldn’t thank him and his team enough for everything they did to ensure the best possible outcome for me and my family.
