Quality, tasty food. Solid service and friendly assistance with our order. Probably overpriced overall. Masala tea was sumptuous. Busy Friday to Sunday.

Delicious and authentic Indian food! The owner has been running the restaurant for 28 years and still going strong. Service was great, and staff were super friendly and welcoming.

If you've never had indian or want to try some of the best, then come here! I highly recommend it!

The quality has been declining.
Ordered medium spice butter chicken which turned out sweet.
Biryani was full of various spices not propotioned well. Also disappointed to see no compliments like yogurt or gravy with the biryani take out.
I still like to support the family business and they have better in the past.
I'll return for a good service and hopefully the food will match.

Serving either frozen or preserved curries. Ordered Navratan currey and we could literally smell the preservatives or vinegar. Definitely not cooked fresh.

The place is avergae the tables are bit congested at least we got a congested one. Customer service is average.

Coming to food. I would say I have tried better indian restaurant certainly not the best ones.

A place like home. Warm, quiet. Services are super friendly and food are delicious with hot roti and buttery naan. Perfect for a quiet night out

Food: Great taste and good portions.
Service: Super fast and owner extremely hospitable.
Cost: A bit expensive but do not mind paying for quality.
Ambience: Small but hopefully in future they will grow into a bigger place.

Good honest authentic cuisine. Great attention to detail with the cooking but if you aren't too keen on spice heat in your curries, let the staff know as "mild" is more like medium here. The restaurant is well frequented by the Indian community which is a glowing testament to the quality of the meals. BYO beer and wine.

One star for polite staff.
Minus 5 star for worst pathetic chicken Biryani.
My humble suggestion to owner, if your cook don't know how to cook Biryani please remove this item from your Menu. I would request you to try Dosa Hut Clayton, so that you get an idea what a Biryani is.
Lowest quality rice ever eaten.
Dont kill our taste for our favourite dish.

A very lovely and wonderful little Indian restaurant.
The menu is really excellent and not laboriously long. Dishes are served thoughtfully with ample time between entre and mains. Servings are generous by Aussie Indian restaurant standards.
Flavors are just perfect, seafood and meat of the highest standard and the culinary experience delivered exceeds expectations by a large margin.
This restaurant is highly recommended. We travel 35 minutes to get there every time we go and always leave very satisfied that we made the decision and effort to travel there.
You will love Mehfil as much as we do.

Had a very good experience. Food was awesome. We had ordered 3 different curries all of which had unique taste of their own. Staff was nice and friendly. If you are looking for a very good authentic Indian food, this is the place! Will definitely visit this place again.

I went to this place looking at the reviews which was a mistake. Nothing looked fresh and everything tasted bland. Ordered biriyani, never had such an ordinary sub standard biriyani in my life. I donno if we can even call that biriyani. I wouldnt even go to that street again. Should have given 1 star but the staff and service was good. The old lady at the counter was polite and friendly. Thats the only saving grace of that joint if any.
