Mehfil Indian Restaurant

Very bad experience with them firstly i got my order in 55 min nd after that they wrong kdahi paneer they were saying thats we serve nd thats not kdhai paneer at all.

I remember when we first walked in to give it a try and were amazed by the experience. It quickly became our favourite place for family gatherings for when we feel like curry. Excellent food that has a homely feel to it that's seasoned just right and at an affordable price. Wide selection of different types of curries that all tastes very great, even the seafood based curries. They also offer very yummy Lassi to soothe burning tastebuds after eating spicier curry. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I have been ordering and dining here for 7 years. Recently the wait staff have been absolutely excellent well done Mehfil Team

Sadly the food didn't live upto my expectations. Shahi Dahl tasted like a regular Dahl, although Naan and kulchas were alright. Also the ambience was a bit dark and dull. Staff is very friendly and prompt, but food wasn't as we desired.

Great food and great service Special thanks to chef for making changes in our food. One thing restaurant is quite busy so for better experience book your table. Will be back to try more cuisines and my favourite Masala Kulcha.

Very nice food. I was there tonight for the first time and the chef is incredibly excellent. Very versatile food and the homely environment. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have maintained the restaurant very well. Hope, I will be regular customer from today.

I had to wait for an hour and a half for my entree, and to make matters worse, they came to reconfirm my order after 30 minutes. The service and staff were disorganized, unprofessional, and provided an overall unpleasant experience.

We had a sit down meal at Mehfil tonight.

The service was awesome, although the food was a little slow to come out, but my word was it worth it!

We had tandoori prawns, which were tender and flavourful. We also had a couple of mild Palak dishes which also were bursting with flavour. Roti and rice were nice additions.

Will come here again for sure!

I been eating here last one year never received any bad quality food. Always tasty and fresh food. Chef always looked after my special requests. Very good service friendly staff members.

Giving 2 stars because coustomer service and presentation is pretty good but food wasn’t i don’t know what happens but food use to be very good but today we have 2 dishes order paneer kadahi and chicken jalferrezi both gravy was 100% same it tastes same no taste no spices and chicken was tuff and pinkish and panner taste like expired or tuff need to work on food taste.

I have been going to this restaurant for the last 2 years. The food has always been great. Today one of my take away was incorrectly brought to me upon pickup. I phoned the restaurant and they said they will deliver the correct dish in 20 min. I received a call back saying that they cant deliver and i had to pick the item. Meanwhile the rest of our food that was ordered was going cold.
I arrived back at the restaurant picked up the correct food, returned the incorrect dish. They were happy to let me keep the incorrect dish but unfortunately i dont like that particular food. I was hoping that they would offer me a small gesture for my inconvenience even if it was $20 dollars on the house next time i order. This would be insignificant to the establishment after all i lost petrol, time and money. This post is all about principle if you make mistake you have to own it.
I will not purchase any more from your establishment the term Customer service and "Hospitality" has lost its meaning

Food was very delicious and staff was very nice, polite and highly professional. A good combination of great customer service and amazing food! The food was served hot! Staff was attentive when taking the order ensuring our allergy and spice preferences were considered. Will be coming back with my friends and family for more.

My Favourite Indian Restaurant for ten years, I just read reviews saying ownership had changed, I wouldn’t have known as the Customer service has always been friendly, and courteous, and the Food is still just as delicious and fresh as ever, Beef and Lamb dishes are always tender packed with flavour but tonight I chose Chicken (Murg Malai) which was cooked perfectly and delicious and not spicy so Miss 6 loved it too.

It’s very great restaurant and food is very delicious hats off to chef. He makes very delicious food.i have been here twice and both time food was too tasty.
The restaurant staff is wonderful and they treat every customer as they are serving food to their family members. All the three waitresses are great specially Manpreet kaur she is too innocent and sweet.i would love to recommend this restaurant to my frnds and my family members to go in to this adorable place and try their food.

I have never been to India before but to me this is the best Indian food in Melbourne by far. The butter chicken is smooth, creamy and full of flavour. The goat curry compliments the butter chicken perfectly adding a spicey kick. Always consistent and when you see Indian families munching away as well, you know what you are getting is authentic and amazing. Staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Will continue to be a regular and support this deserving business!
