I had a fantastic experience here a couple of months back with Lauren when I needed a whole bunch of things to prep for a friend's wedding. I've never really been "into make-up" so I was sort of starting from scratch. Lauren was knowledgeable, friendly and super patient with me and my 23498 questions. Would shop here again:)

Came in today with very little experience, and I asked Lauren for help. She was a wealth of knowledge and helped me with so many questions, I think she was with me for 45 minutes! I left with a basket full of products I can’t wait to use, that actually match my skin. Thanks again to Lauren!

I went into the store yesterday with my young baby, the assistant was super helpful really taking her time to get the best colour match for foundation which wasn't that easy because i needed something with pink and yellow undertones. We got the perfect match thank you so much for quality customer service with a makeup assistant that actually knew what she was talking about.

One of the best and most memorable experiences I’ve had in a cosmetic store. Staff are absolutely lovely. I was assisted by Lauren. Her service was beyond amazing. She made me feel really comfortable, was patient with me, gave me tips on best ways to apply my makeup, colour matched me to perfection. Can’t recommend this store enough.

Today i came in and spoke with Kiwa she is an absolute lovely girl, she was so helpful and kind and an amazing facialist

Mecca is one of my favourite places to go. It’s like heaven in there. The staff there is helpful, and nice. 5 out of 5 stars, not just because it has all the stuff I could dream of, but also because the workers there are so helpful and kind.

Much needed upgrade to the store but I can’t stand the lighting! Made it so hard to find the right foundation colour. Ended up picking up the wrong shade even though I was assisted by staff.

This Mecca has to be the worst in Melbourne due to majority of staff being so rude and unhelpful. There was a lady who served me she was training a young girl she had light hair and skin looked about 40. She was in the make up section. She was horrible, made me feel uncomfortable and was just weird. Please do yourself a favour Mecca northland and don’t tarnish the Mecca reputation of having such lovely helpful and knowledgeable staff and actually employee some.

I walked into mecca at northlands with the knowledge of which products i wanted to buy and what shades i needed, so when an employee asked how i was and asked if i needed help i politely declined because i simply didn’t need the help.i also hesitated/didn’t make eye contact as i am not very good in social situations, hence i looked up and browsed my products before i came.i continued to locate my products and began walking to and from isles comparing the shades and sizes that the products came in, and EVERY time i moved this employee with pink hair and extremely overblushed cheeks decided to follow me and watch my every move.i understand that teenagers are known to steal and whatnot, but as someone who has never stolen nor wanted to steal i felt extremely uncomfortable at the fact i was being watched so closely by an employee for absolutely no reason.teach ur staff how to at least be subtle when keeping an eye on innocent customers, thx in advance.

We had a great consult from Sarah today, she was very kind and patient. My friend went in looking for foundation for her wedding day, Sarah colour matched her foundation and gave recommendations for concealer and powder. We both purchased more than what we had planned. Thank-you for your assistance and wonderful knowledge Sarah!

Appaling service compared to Sephora in Northland. It is like night and day. Customer service was poor while a bunch of girls were just chatting away without even asking if I needed any help while I was browsing.

I waked into Mecca to check out some lipstick. The girls who I asked help from did not know the differences of the lipstick formulas in the same brand. Poor training and lack of knowledge.

Fantastic staff members who are always so friendly and willing to help - one of the best Mecca stores I’ve been in!

Very happy with my visit today. I walked in the door and was addressed within 30 seconds. The young lady who assisted me was absolutely fantastic with what I needed.
Last week, I walked into a competitor store at Northlands and wandered around like a lost lamb waiting for assistance for over 10 mins, but I left without assistance.
Very happy with Mecca and will return.

Today I had a make up lesson at Mecca, and I can’t speak any more highly about it. Victoria was extremely helpful and knowledgable, and really helped me to create the look I’ve been after for a while. Not once did I feel pressured to buy anything (although I happily did), and she even provided me with tips on how to use products I have at home. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and look forward to getting to use and show off all my new products. I will definitely be back to this Mecca store! Thank you Victoria for all your amazing assistance!

Shout out to the Amazing Sally! Who couldn't of been more helpful last night! She provided me with a personable experience and made sure that all of my needs were taken care of! When ever i talk to people about Mecca Northland, I will be reccomending Sally as the flagship of Customer service! Thanks so much Sally!

Really unhelpful staff member I’ve unfortunately dealt with twice now, she first tried to get me to go to another store an hour away instead of suggesting something else in this one. I just wanted to find a lip oil, but she just shook her head when I asked what was available. I had to keep asking questions in hopes of eventually leading to her suggesting ANYTHING to help. Apparently there isn’t even lip gloss in the store? ! I gave up and searched online for recommendations and looked for stock myself, but this is the last time I even try to shop at Mecca. I’m not even worth a verbal response half the time. To top it off, rather than helping me get a basket, she watched while I leaned over to untangle one from the pile on the floor while I dropped some of the products I was holding, which she thought was funny. Thanks
