Mecca Cosmetica Carlton

Can't recommend Mecca Cosmetica Carlton enough. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and great at what they do. I have had my makeup done professionally previously and wasn't happy. However, Jocelyn knew what worked well on my skin. She didn't cake my makeup on, made my face look so natural and gave me her honest opinion about what looked nice on my skin. I couldn't thank her enough. I received so many compliments on my makeup. I will definitely be back as the experience I had was outstanding. Thank you guys again!

I came to Melbourne for the long weekend and popped in the Mecca Carlton store to get a couple of essentials. I generally love Mecca, but this time my experience was absolutely great with Sarah Kate! She talked me through all the questions I had and did a complimentary skin treatment and make up on me. She is a gorgeous personality and is truly inspired by her job. It feels amazing for the rest of the day dealing with a staff member like her. Thank you darling, I’m dinner-ready and looking forward to our next catch up

Mecca Cosmetica on Lygon is my absolute go to for all my skincare needs! Their knowledge, professionalism and range is unparalleled. The team is excellent here but a very special mention and thanks to my #1, Yani! She is a skincare specialist here and her customer service in conjunction with her expertise and passion makes her a total asset to the Mecca brand!

Side note: as a male who is serious about skincare it was super nice to step into a store and feel welcomed whilst still being taken seriously.

The products are lovely, tho you're paying the price for them. I bought a Bare Minerals Hydrating Creme Gel Foundation. The customer service staff are pretty mediocre, a bit fake like their makeup to be honest. It would be great to receive genuine heart customer service, but this is probably what's expected in a material world. I get the feeling females who are so wrapped up in their looks and makeup appearances are pretty self absorbed.
I really got the feeling the main manager (Amak was written on the receipt?) was looking down her nose, at me, pretty judgemental with an aire of superiority as I went in completely make up free.
Not a very good experience, I'd probably opt to shop online next time, and just go in to perhaps try out the products.

The staff members here saved my skin and each time I've come for my makeup they have done an incredible job! They also take the time to discuss techniques and products and go into depth about ingredients - they are so informative and so kind! It is a little store though, but so great!
