Disgusted at the lack of communication after arriving with a pre booked party of 15 to find the venue closed. Will never re book.

Ashamed we came from Sydney and we rock up and boom nothing, no communication or anything just empty building with no lights on

Best BBQ in Melbourne. We got a large share plate between 5 of us and ever bit of meat was cooked perfectly.
The Oysters Brisket Kilpatrick as a starter is a must. It’s everything I have always wanted a Kilpatrick to be.
Great atmosphere and the background music is spot on.

I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to eat at Meatworks for a while. I finally went and ordered the platter for two. While it was a bit overpriced for the amount of food the taste made it worthwhile. The chicken was overly salty but the rest was spot on. Even the brisket was good!

Absolutely fantastic food. Visited Friday at 12pm. The owner was very welcoming and very helpful with selection of what to order. His recommendation was spot on. Throughly enjoyed the food and the venue itself it’s fantastic. Will recommend this place to everyone and will become my new go to place for great food. Ps order the spring rolls, bloody amazing!

I've just realized that this is the second five star review I've left for meatworksco. The steak was just as good as last time, as was the service and the selection of shiraz.

This is the steak frites. Perfectly selected, seasoned and cooked scotch fillet.

Thank you Meatworksco and the incredible owners + team who looked after us on a busy Saturday night. Everything was amazing and our party couldn't be happier. A well-deserved 5 stars.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. This place is a unique well run restaurant with some exceptional food. On my recent trip to Melbourne we dinned here on two separate occasions and both were brilliant. Special wings were great, brisket perfect and sides to perfection. The owner was brilliant and was also able to give us some good recommendations! Highly recommend this place for a great meal in a great atmosphere!

The service was a tad slow and inattentive, so it took nearly 45 minutes after ordering to receive our food, but this is almost to be expected with the staffing challenges hospitality is facing at the moment

Fortunately the food more than made up for this, and I have found my new favourite special occasion American BBQ joint in Melbourne.

We ordered chicken wings, pork ribs, beef brisket, fat boy fries, mac n cheese as well as the cabbage salad and came away thoroughly impressed with everything. The pork ribs and beef brisket are an absolute standout. The date pudding was a bit lackluster after the main event, but this is easily forgiven.

Hopefully the staffing challenges can be resolved, and we look forward to returning!

Wow, from the time I set foot in this venue I knew I was being well taken care of, the head chef comes around and discusses what he recommends/what would be enough food for everyone depending on how hungry. We had a share platter which showcased pretty much every land animal on offer, great choice. Good variety of sauces too, which compliment the meal nicely. Whatever you do, you must get the brisket sliders to start, wowee, they just melt in your mouth (thank you for the recommendation). Possibly only recommendation i could make is that you get a slightly larger amount of dipping sauces, just gets rid of the hassle of asking for more. Will be back

Their impeccable brisket, bold-flavoured pulled pork, ribs, chicken and and delicious sides most definitely delivered a tasty, hearty feed that’s bound to satisfy any hunger pangs. Great to see an Aussie business pumping out great American style barbecue.

Had a lovely Christmas lunch with work colleagues at Meatworksco. The team really looked after us and we will return for sure.

This was the second time we ate at Meatworksco and they definitely didn't disappoint. The meat was delicious with the standout being the beef brisket that melted in your mouth. Would definitely recommend!

One fo the best American bbq moved meat restaurants in all of Melbourne. Good music, good food and there's even a fireplace inside for those cold dinner nights.

Definitely worth a visit. Rustic feel to the restaurant with exceptional low and slow food. The chef knows to keep the rub simple and let the cooking skills do the talking. No over rubbed, over smoked meat here. This is a little hidden gem of American style low and slow right on the heart of Melbourne. I was honoured to have my birthday lunch here. The team here bring a new level of service too. They made you feel at home. Genuine warmth and passion for what they do. I'll be back soon!

This place! Wow. We had an absolutely amazing time here. From the first moment you arrive to the second you roll out is fantastic. The food.omg yummmmmmmm. The drinks were on another leave.and if you don't have the cool pick shot chaser! Your not living! Super super excited to have found this place and recommend it to any one.
