I really loved the spaghetti bolognese and calabrese pizza.its expensive than others but then again u have to pay for quality

Could not reccomend more strongly, food was incredible, I had the $42 duck and it was so rich and beautifully cooked, a small portion was was first thought but the richness and fullness of the dish left me more than content. Friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. Recommend highly

The food is way over priced & salty, staff are lovely but the way the owner talks to the staff is appalling. Such a shame for such a nice location. I'd only book again if Groove Train was full.

I’m only giving them three stars for the friendliness of the young waitresses. Otherwise they’d be getting a two star review.
I’m not known for writing negative reviews but boy does this place deserve it! The food took forever, when it did arrive we waited and waited for one of our party to get their main.it never came.we asked and asked again. Meanwhile everyone else’s meals were getting cold. We ended up tucking in whilst our friend sat there with with no food. It did finally arrive as we were all polishing our mains off. Mostly bland was the general consensus. Disappointing when you pay $45 for a tiny piece of fish on a bed of a few other ingredients. Bland bland bland. This place used to be great. Something has changed, the chef? I don’t know.
Desserts was also a disaster. We ordered coffees and desserts, the desserts took ages and only after we asked several times did it actually arrive. Desserts were fine. A good solid 7/10.
Service was poor (staff were lovely but didn’t seem to be able to get the food to us). We asked for some cutlery and they brought condiments, then we explained we needed cutlery and they brought spoons for the condiments (that we didn’t need). We finally got cutlery.
The place is loud (so don’t expect to hear too much conversation from people who aren’t sitting right next to you).

Awesome place for a nice sit down meal. Food was top notch and staff were even better. Highly recommended for somewhere higher end dining.

The food was magnificent, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Staff were very friendly & patient. This used to be a bank.

Food was absolutely amazing! We had the chef's tasting board and mushroom pizza (had a fancier name on menu) The chef's board was delicious with calamari, eggplant chips, bruschetta and arancini and and with the matched aioli's they were suburb. I will rarely go past a mushroom pizza on menu especially when paired with truffles and this is one of the best I have ever had as it had a generous amount of mushrooms.
It is a pricey restaurant, but you definitely get what you pay for and was happy with the quality.
Our servers were particularly friendly and accommodating and answers all our questions.
Will definitely be back!

Don't waste your time with over-rated and over-priced places in Crown. This restaurant is the new underdog of authentic Italian. Not just their food being outstanding, but the ambience at this place is beyond impressive. It has a great vibe about it and their staff are refreshingly friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. I highly recommend this place whether youre on a date or out with the family, hit em up.

The food was absolutely delicious My hat goes off to the chef/s. We all had a wonderful time.
The staff made us feel so welcome with their lovely smiles.

Dinner was amazing there. We had steak. It was so nice very moist and very tender. It was a great place to eat.

Recently had the Smashed Avo for Breakfast here. Food and service were brilliant and the industrial look on the interior is well done. Easy accessible location with plenty of parks on site. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Amazing food and service however it really was expensive. The portions are small for the price. Left feeling hungry.

Best authentic tasting Pizzas, including the Nutella Pizza. Service is exquisitely welcoming from a lovely traditional Italian Family.

Service was a little slow initially, but then we got a great lady who noticed we had waited and took care of us. Great food and wine. Highly recommend

Some of the best italian food in the Melbourne area. What a hidden little gem! Beautiful setting. The carbonara was well made, al dente, not gluggy. Amazing! Minimal ingredients on the pizza, but so much flavour! And a beautifully balanced dessert! Will definitely be coming back!

Service was average upon arrival. We had 6 different waiters /waitresses walk straight past us and some several times whilst we stood there waiting to be attended to (we had made a booking already). Several staff members were having a chat so clearly they can't use the excuse of being busy. We'd hoped the food would be amazing and the entrées were but at the same time they were also extremely expensive considering the portion size. The mains on the other hand were extremely average as the steaks came out barely warm and the mushroom sauce on mine was so minimal that the steak was extremely dry. There was only two half slithers of mushroom on the steak. The sauce was that minimal that the plate had no sauce on it at all upon arrival meaning that if I took the steak off the plate it would've been completely dry. The pepper sauce on the other plate was very poor as you couldn't even taste the pepper in the slightest even though it was covered in peppercorns. It's like the peppercorns were hollow. Average experience all round apart from the entrée and the lovely lady that took our order. Thank you but we believe that you definitely need to step it up.
