New Years Eve.came last year, very good. This year.huge disappointment. Drinks came ok. Asked for water, no water appeared. Waitress said she would come and take our order. 20+ mins, still waiting. Food eventually arrived but only 1 main meal and side, both of which were whipped away, so everything could come together, 5 mins tops! 20 mins later still waiting! Eventually turned up but with no veg for me. Awful, won't be back.

Great food, good service but the food all comes together when you order entre and mains very weird

We arrived for lunch on a Sunday and agreed, we had one of the best pub meals in ages. The interior is attractive, there’s option to sit outside, and it wasn’t packed and noisy. Recommend the parma mains and entree prawns were delicious!

Your main beers on tap, plenty of screens to view the footy, welcoming staff and what you expect from a pub for food.

The food was delicious and service was very quick. Although, the restaurant was fairly crowded when I visited.

We went for dinner on a Thursday night (my birthday, specifically). All 4 of us ordered their steak special. 3 of us ordered the steak done medium-rare (because that's how steak should be cooked!), and one ordered theirs medium. Although they were busy, the food arrived fairly quickly, which was good, but 3 out of the 4 steaks were over cooked. Mine was medium-rare, 2 of the others were medium (at the least), and the medium steak arrived truly well done.
Other than the cook on the meat, I can't complain about any other aspect of the meal.
The only other small disappointment was that my wife clearly stated it was my birthday when booking the table, but there was no mention of it from the staff, nor dessert with candle, or anything at all.

Menu sounds better than it tastes. Very swanky on the menu, but when delivered it looked fresh out of the microwave.

Atmosphere and service is good on the other hand.

Cold beer, friendly staff and a great Parmigiana. What more could you ask for. A really great hotel.

Good spot for a decent chicken schnitzel out a steak. Writers table only service that is a little lacking. Great specials including $2.00 oysters on a Friday and a decent range of beers on tap. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Superb outdoor deck area with multiple open fire places. Defenitely with a visit

Amazing food! I had the Parma and it tasted amazing and was filling! They had very nice outside seating.

Went on a Friday night for drinks and dinner. Food was delicious and tasty. Good service and overall a great night!

Lovely little pub great meals and friendly staff. The place was clean and service was great.

The place has been set up quite nicely however the menu is doesn't have much option. A few of us ordered the steak. It wasn't until we were almost finish eating that one of the waitress came up to us and decide to give us a steak knife and said "this might help with cutting the steak". The food was good however the service wasn't. It wasn't a busy night and there wasn't many people. We felt targeted and felt that the waitress were trying to rush us out. We had overseas guest as well and it wasn't a great experience for them. Was thinking of going back but now we wont be anymore

Beer was great, service exceptional. If I had to pick on something, there's too much batter around the fish, you get an inch of batter then only just cooked fish. Which in turn makes the batter too crispy. The chips are worse, skin on, shoestring fries, thinner ones cooked, thickers ones, not so much. Tartar sauce was way too herby and overpowered anything it went on. And don't get me started on the 'Posh Peas'!

I went with a group. I had Tiger prawns which were very messy to eat and not much meat. Looking at my friends' meals the serves didn't seem very generous and the fish and chips were disappointing.

May 2022 update. Main course barramundi was well cooked and tasty, but once again the serves aren't very generous. Coffee arrived lukewarm.

Calamari salad and eggplant chips both well cooked and tasty. Coffee was right temperature.

Shocking rude service. Won’t be back. Terrible!
Ended up leaving bc so bad. Save yourself the drama and go elsewhere. Such a waste of a Sunday night.

I was excited for the Friday pub meal but to my disappointment the chicken Parma was cooked way to long. It was the consistency of cardboard with a dash of cheese and sauce on top. All 4 of us at the same table got the same deal so it was not a once off. No pepper gravy and the gravy we did get may as well have been brown water. Buy some gravox and pull the Parma’s out 20 minutes earlier and I’ll be back.
