McDonald's Thomastown II

It's a McDonald's. I don't know what I really expected. With that being said I've had a lot of Maccas in my time and never felt as sick as I felt after eating here. Ordered a chocolate Sundae which tasted rank. I had 2 spoonfulls and threw it away. My fries came out with no salt on them and I had to ask for salt. My burger came out cold in the middle, but not wanting to complain twice, I just ate it. Felt like literal garbage for nearly 2 days after eating here. But hey I got those sweet sweet monopoly tokens and won like a million free small drinks that I have to order individually each time.

Second visit in three weeks and for the second time, only one lane being served in drive through. Today the car in front of me waited five minutes, then as I waited with another car behind me, the other lane was repeatedly empty but every car that rolled up was served before us. Five cars were served in the other lane while we waited. This is despite me after the second car, trying to politely get their attention by talking to the speaker, and it wasn't until I yelled 'serve the other lane' when the sixth car pull up that a different employee finally served our lane. 10 minutes just to get my order taken.

From the moment I walked in the door I could see that the seating area was dirty. We looked around for a clean table (there were lots of tables available) only to realise that not one of them was indeed clean.though there was no rubblish left on them there was however bits of food and general mess all over them.we chose one and my wife had to use a wipe she had in her bag to clean the table before we felt comfortable to sit at it. It was 2pm on a Saturday and the toilets were FILTHY.with last night's vomit still in the urinal and rubbish etc all over the floor.there was a sign on the wall asking the reader to report any problems in the bathroom to the manager.however given its state I really didn't think there was any point. After using the toilet and trying not to touch anything I realised i wanted to wash my hands.no soap.taps looked filthy.so I looked for a hand sanitiser dispenser.not in the bathroom that i could find lest it too might have been covered in the general mess found there.lots around in the restaurant itself however nothing in them. I could see that they had been / were busy but really! I remember last century when I was a secondary student and working part-time at the old McDonald's in Greensborough that if we were rostered to work in the dinning room that we were constantly cleaning and that the manager would inspect it on a regular basis to make sure it was clean.there is no way in hell that this had been cleaned or, indeed, checked by anyone through the day.don't think I'll head back to this any time soon! Oh and to make things worse.the food itself was luke warm when we received it.my advice.head to another restaurant instead.

Get my morning latte from here and it’s always spot on with amazing creamy froth on top however I purchased 2 macarons from there for the first time today and saying it wasn’t fresh would be an understatement, it was rock hard stale, disappointing especially since I paid $2.15 per macaron!

Very busy at peak hours, in spite of busy services was excellent and fast compared to other McDonald’s

Ordered Uber Delivery. Food came ice cold. Specifically asked for no onion as I’m allergic and burger came with onion. Given Coke Zero instead of coke and no straws or sauces. Also recently when I’ve gone to this McDonald’s and gone though the drive thru the staff don’t speak to you. Just tell you the total and take your money and drive up to the food collection window and they just give you your order. What happened to have a good afternoon or enjoy your order or even a simple hello. Not sure if management has changed but the past month these guys have seriously gone down hill. Not happy.

Nuggets are always served cold. Not the approachable and friendly staff. We stopped coming here but did visit again since we're starving and regret it!

Another decent branch of the McDonalds chain. I could feel the energy of the staff. Good luck boys and girls.

Called at mcdonalds thomastown yesterday with my wife at 3.30, and the state of the store was absolutely disgusting, rubbish everywhere overflowing rubbish bins with rubbish actually stacked on top of them, messy tables throughout the store that had not been cleaned up strewen with containers and used serviettes and paper cups, filthy floors covered with foodsraps, the toilets absolutely discusting, filthy, had not been cleaned for some time, (are staff no longer required to where hair covering? For they dont) dont often eat at mcdonaldsand if this is their approach to hygiene in their stores dont think i ever will again!

That pushits I just went there hungry at mew year day at 2 in the moning and they tell me that I have to wait 15 minutes cos there line are Down
Wrong timing

Honestly the worst customer service from a mcdonalds! They are all standing around chatting and don’t really want to be working! Not the first time this has happened either. Passing the jobs to each other! Over 20mins in drive through! So food was disappointedly cold. None of them had masks on properly!

Best place ever, went threw drive thru! Asked staff member that I didn’t want ice! Was told #### off! Never again great custom service.

Delivers your standard Macca's offerings. Staff mostly friendly except for those in the McCafe end who seemed to not like to be interrupted during their chores with questions. Manager had mask down below his chin and was scratching his beard while filling the food orders - yuck! Food quality was acceptable but the McAngus burger was over sauced causing it to leak all over you when you bite into the burger. This 'over saucing' is becoming quite a habit throughout the chain. Is it a practical joke by the workers or necessary to give the burger some taste? Serviette dispensers are at the serving counter and were overfilled to the point where you could not readily grab one. Low score also because the car park is chaotic and busy serving both Macca's and the businesses next door. I'm sure this perpetual traffic would also effect the drive through flow.

Been waiting in drive through for around 15 minutes just to find out on the next counter that they are not accepting payments.

What can I say? The food is the same as any other McDonalds; I judge it just by the cleanliness and service. No problem here, friendly staff, the restaurant looked tidy.

Disgusting service. I just ordered an iced coffee and I was given garbage with too much sugar and no ice. Absolutely horrible. Will not spend my money here ever again. Management seriously needs to get involved and sort things out. I’ve never seen a McDonald’s as bad as this one.

Most horrible service, the staff are not bothered until you go up and yell at the counter. And the arrogance of the young staff adds to it. Will never visit again.

Can never order the McFlurry through the app as it says it's unavailable at this location so you miss out on the deal. Other than that, pretty normal maccas

Just because there is always something missing when we order. 10 times in a row the order is not complete.
