McDonald's Newcomb

Disgusting, I ordered a wrap to come home and it was all a mess inside the bag. Went back to the store where the indian manager ignored my husband when he called out to him. I showed him the wrap and he said ill make you another one. I then spotted a kid making burgers with his long hair hanging out over the food. No hair net and was not tied back. I said to the manger I refuse for him to make my food as his hair is out everywhere. The manager then went over to look at the kid, he was a deer under head lights. Omg mate this is your staff wouldn't you know he had his hair hanging out at the start of his shift. This mcdonalds has got very bad. They need to be retained in safe food handling and also uniform presentation. There was also an indian girl with long hair down to her bottom, should have been tied up in a bun in a food environment. If I owned that store I'd really crack down on these kids. I guess in India they have no concept or hygiene so they don't really care.

Really Maccas! Your staff were very bland serving and the food delivered was not up to standard, it wasn't hugely busy for a Monday afternoon so no excuses. I just felt like I got ripped off. Half a sundae and half a thick shake for nearly $11 tut tut, lift your game or lose customers.

Cleaner than most.but overall disappointing.
Ordered a 'large' meal but the burger buns are getting ridiculously small as if they're going to faze them out altogether. Meat patty half the quantity they used to be Thickshake not available so it was replaced by a watery/milky chocolate drink. No offer of refund. Very ordinary! Didn't get even half the money's worth today. We live and learn. Won't happen again.

They can’t get anything right. And it’s cold every time

Worst. McDonald's. Ever. I waited 20 minutes for two Sundays. I was in the store for about an hour, had food and drink spilled all over the floors, and nobody cleaned it up. The bins were overflowing.the staff were understaffed and irritable. Go to the better McDonald's up the road.

This is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. I live close by and due to numerous extremely poor visits I drive to Leopold of CBD for a Macca's fix.

Mc Donald's Newcomb seriously needs to close drive thru when they are under staffed. Third time in a month l have waited over 40 mins in drive through.
Once was for a iced latte 40 mins! Joke. This time 40 mins has had me recieve my New Aussie Angus deluxe burger without Any lettuce, no sauce and yes of course did no know until l got home! Ridiculous seriously. Called to complain and like usual nothing happens, just oh sorry can you come back. NO l can not.l understand people being busy but there is no care or respect when staff make mistakes, it's a joke to staff, obviously it is as this happens over and over and over.

Possibly the most dysfunctional McDonald's I've seen. Took nearly 45 minutes; had to send back wrong items multiple times. Kitchen was completely tied up due to low staff and being overwhelmed with online delivery. The manager looked very distressed and upset and was obviously having a terrible shift. We wanted to use the app to order so we could get a 20% voucher but the store wouldn't recognise it.

The food was cold, the tables were dirty, the bins were overflowing with rubbish, and the ice cream pretty much melted as soon as we received it.

It's McDs; you know you aren't getting gourmet food or service, but this one failed to meet even the most basic level of service.

I had to use the Men's room and to my horror the smell almost knocked me out of the door. When I got into the area, the place was disgusting, rubbish on the floor and in the urinal, really not satisfactory for a food place. This area should be checked on a 15 min basis and kept to the highest level of cleanliness for health reasons.
Management needs a shake up to let this get out of hand.

Waited over 45 minutes in drive through tonight for 2 of the new Angus deluxe burgers on their own, and 2 drinks. Arrived home to eat our meal, burger had NO sauce and NO lettuce, why advertise a new burger if your staff cannot prepare the food properly. Called and had my name written down, was expecting a call from the manager and NO call back. I wish I could post photos of what it is meant to look like, compared to what I received.

THE WORST McDONALDS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO WE WERE COMING HOME FROM THE BEACH TO BALLARAT AND THOUGHT A DRIVE THOUGH COFFEE WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE DRIVE HOME …… WELL AN HOUR AND A 1/2 LATER WITH NO EXPLANATION AND NO APOLOGY WE GOT TOLD TO GET OUT FOR ASKING WHAT THE HOLD UP WAS AND WHEN WE SAID WE WANTED THE COFFEE IM SURE THEY MADE THE WORST COFFEE THEY COULD DO THE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE LINE WERE NOT HAPPY HONKING HORNS AND YELLING OUT BUT ONE CAME TO EXPLAIN OR APOLOGY……… bad bad bad bad

The team here could use an espresso shot or three. We waited over 10 minutes to get our food and another 10 minutes to get our coffees. Some of the front counter/drive thru staff had zero motivation to be there. When a senior staff member came out to help with the McCafe orders, the other girl had no idea what had been made and what hadn't.

By the time we finally sat down to eat, we struggled to find a clean table.

The only saving grace was that the food and drinks tasted good, even if the burgers were messily put together.

The poor kids that work there apparently get no training from management. Waited ages for a burger that they made with an ingredient we had explicitly confirmed multiple times can't be in the burger due to an allergy. When I told them the issue the girl on front told me to just take that ingredient out. I told her that cross contamination like that would trigger the allergy and kindly asked to please make it again. While I waited, a manager came out and asked if I was being looked after. I said yes and one of the workers explained the issue, he just laughed very loudly. A pretty poor reaction to what could have been a nice teachable moment for the young staff who clearly didn't understand what cross contamination is/the importance of allergy safety.

23 minute wait to eat in while staff concentrated on uber deliveries with order numbers after mine. Plus order was wrong. NEVER AGAIN

If you don't have an hour to spare sitting I.n the drive through then I suggest going sewhere. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will be refusing to pay for my meal after waiting this long. No one has even come out and offered an explanation or even a cold drink.

Worst Maccas in Australia I have been all over Australia and I’ve never come across one so poorly run and dirty they have NEVER gotten my order right always items missing or items made completely wrong I give up

Went around 7.30 new years eve in Newcomb. Long long wait and all I wanted was a sundae. Which was quite melted by the time I got it. Please fix your menu boards they were not working on that night.

This time I asked for extra pickles, I got no pickles.
Last time I asked for a quarter pounder, I got a McChicken
This place makes me sad

Went to store today, drive through banked up into carpark. Went into store to get 3 coffees waited in line for 20 minutes. Only 1 other person got there order. Never got to place order. Timed drive through well over the 3 minutes allocated. Ended up leaving after talking with another customer from Ballarat who had been waiting for nearly an hour, cold coffee but food was hot, asked for a hot coffee to replace the cold one to have with his food, this took another 12 minutes. I left went to get coffee elsewhere, 3 others followed me. Staff trying there best, customers not happy. What has happened to this store?

I went in for breakfast today around about peak hour, I had to wait a really long time but I personally don't care to much. The staff had to cop alot of s*** from the customers and yet they were still so patient and kind with them, this one girl in particular who had curly brown hair and was wearing a striped shirt was very kind and apologetic. This is the only McDonald's where I felt like the staff did genuinely care about me as a customer. They're understaffed at the moment so if you don't want to wait a long time for food, you'd be better off coming in at a time where they aren't busy. Wish people were a bit more paitent with the staff.
