Extremely disappointing. Students forced to stay outside even in bad weather due to the library being full and having no chairs left. Paid good money but can't even use the facilities. I guess it looks okay as a landmark. There are better descriptions of the terrible library than mine, you should go take a look. Music program is bad, students forced to attend band, if you want to quit an instrument teachers give multiple conferences to make you keep on going. And also, they spent all their funds building a new library, and even getting new carpet while the desks, chairs and lockers look as old as Yoda. A lot of the rooms don't even have air conditioning or even fans. If into the school you go, only pain and suffering you will find. There are better options than this.

Very terrible school! Don't go there! You will suffer! Teachers don't know what they are doing. Librarians don't let you in. The whole school is disappointing. Go to another school.

I encountered Mazenod college students in my school years along with students from other colleges. The students here are gentlemanly and confident. Also attending the local church Mazenod is linked to, I know the school value its pastoral care. Having viewed the facilities and achievements of students at this school I am confident that the school has a good balance of academics and vocational achievements, catering for all student capabilities. Their music facilities are fantastic and students produce very high quality artworks. There is no mention of over strictness with uniform presentation at this school, as is the complaint with some catholic girls schools. It is a shame the majority of criticisms of this school is about the library/ librarian. I am so glad to be sending my son here. If anyone reading this can offer an equivalent recommendation for a girls school please post. I am struggling to find an equally great girls school in the area.

Great school, but not worth to attend the 6 years of therapy caused by the librarians. They are somehow older and stricter than the school itself.

Library looks great, but I'm not sure if they'll ever let anyone use it. Maybe I should pretend to be a D&D nerd?

Not worth 1 star! Trashy catholic school. Students have no manners. Poor teaching quality. Bullies. Worst school in the state. Stay away

This is probably one of the greatest private schools in the state. They help with students struggling and refrain from leaving without them. My one and only problem is the library, very dangerous.

This would be a great school if it weren't for those horrible librarians. I feel like I'm being harassed 24/7, I just want to go in the library to finish homework or play chess. But instead the librarians guard the doors to shout at everyone "the library is full". They don't understand that we paid to school fees to use the facilities provided by the school not stand out in the pouring rain just because the librarians cant be bothered letting more people in. I wish there would just be nice librarians who show students some kindness.

I, as a student, really like this school, but many of the forms and stuff they give to you online, why couldn't they give it out on paper?

LIbrarians are very rude and have no care towards students, they will also atack you like a magpie if you library books have not been returned.

This school is a highly great educational school, you can get involved with many activities including musical instruments, school plays, ACC sport and many more. I would highly recommend coming to this school since it is a great opportunity for your kids to get great schooling (9/10) Just kidding

One day my history teacher called the entire class the biggest bunch of losers that's ever come into the school.

The teacher's put down students instead of encouraging them which is part of a teachers job to do!

This is an excellent school, all round. The teachers are kind and respectful, and is a wonderful school that really tries to bring out the best in the students. Mazenod College is hugely popular in this area and it deserves to be. If you are a Catholic person, consider going because this school is basically a church, lots of prayers and belief in human value and dignity. You are welcomed into a heartwarming community no matter what your race is or how smart you are. I cannot thank this school enough. This school is like one large family.

This school is at an elite professional standard, it is a fantastic nurturing environment for young men. This school is infinitely growing and growing. The staff are polite and help the students reach their foreseeable potential. Mazenod College has extremely strong human values and human dignity. There is Mass during school hours, adoration and many religious events to partake in and fundraising days e.g. Mission Action Day (M. A. D day). In the music department, teachers are supportive and promotes maximum capability in great musicians. In the education side, this school has extension groups during school hours for students that are above and beyond the rest of the year level. This schools academic results are brilliant! All subjects have value when work is revised from Primary School if you start in YR 7. Although large parts of the school need a major makeover. Send your son here! He will truly become a Gentlemen!

This school is highly praised for it's fundamentals and it's limits.

If you are looking for an advisable review for Mazenod College and are transitioning into a new school and new environment, take this as advice into consideration.

CRITICALLY RECOMMENDED 9/10

Mazenod is the type of School that doesn't let you use a Summary book in a summary book able SAC.

When I arrived at this school, I was greeted to a group of blacks. I was honestly shocked, by the amount of servitude that these servants showed. This school clearly has important values surrounding these slaves, and I honestly could not reccommend this school enough.

My son started here from yr7 in 2015. Last week we attended an information night to learn to support him in his senior years. Coming out, my partner said to me, "no wonder our son comes home in the afternoon so polite and well behaved, the teachers are genuine and our son know exactly what is expected of him". We have never regretted paying the school fees, as the school provides our son with a first class education, but far more important, they taught our son to be a kind, independent gentlemen who will be an asset to any community.
