Go if u want (religion is compulsory for vce and you have to do minimum 7 subjects for vce instead of 6) but other than thats its an eh school

If your son struggles in a VCE subject like chemistry or visual arts, they would just kick your son out of the subject instead of attempting to help them.

Mazenod's VCE results have been dropping over recent years, you're better off sending your son to a more competitive and higher ranking school like JMSS that achieves better scores in STEM subjects.

A lot of the students here are lazy while a lot of the students in other private/selective schools such as Melbourne High and Nossal High are more hard-working and achieve better VCE results than the students at Mazenod with just about the same number of students in the VCE cohort.

If you want to send your son to this school, you can do so but try to get your son into a selective school for year 9 or JMSS for year 10 as those schools do better at VCE than Mazenod.

Sometimes it's not all about the money, it's about the quality of teaching. Mazenod fails to achieve that.

Librarians are horrible, can't even study in there or read if you are not someone who is in there everyda.

My daughter came home crying and told me that the staffs were being rude to her. She also came home complaining that they were not allowed inside when the weather is cold.

Excellent school other than the beastly, fulsome and abominable librarians, sent my son out of the library for looking for a book to read. Very pushy and repugnant, vulgar and scandalous.

The respect you get from the teachers is non-existent, all of them say they can't c me. Also theres a few teachers in particular, namely Mr McGarry and Mr Harrup, that go out of their way to sabotage their classes; which is a big issue because they are both predominantly Yr12 teachers.

Mazenod College is one of the best school known for its academic excellence and pastrol care.

The values which boys are getting at the college are amazing. This will help to shape their character.

Lastly, Mazenod college is known for its discipline, sports and academics achievements.

I would highly recommend this school for boys who want to grow in their careers and hold strong values.

Teachers care more about your shirt being tucked in than teaching.

I wanted to finish my maths hw but the librarians didn't let me in because according to them it was "full" just because all the seats were taken.

The teacher, Mr. Grosso, is a very good and respectful teacher. He is very hands on and good at teaching.

The librarians at this school are absolutely insane. They won't let in people who want to finish their homework and be productive about their education but they'll let in 5 other Year 7's because I guess they supposedly have space for 5 people but not 1? These librarians are insane and should consider the way they treat the students who are paying their bills with their school fees that they pay.

Good school. Got detention and forced to sit out for whole lesson for taking 2 sips of water. At least toilet paper taste nice

Great school with welcoming teachers who truly love to teach the students and help them learn. One of the best schools in Victoria and i can't wait to send my daughter here next year.

A disciplined yet nurturing environment where the Catholic faith is taught & lived out in the daily life of the College. A wonderful experience! The pastoral care at the College is truly commendable. The College has continued to produce great young men who stand out in society as courageous, caring people who do their alma mater proud.

Librarians stupid, teaches annoying. All you will find there is suffering. That is what you pay for. Please don't go.
