It is a shame that some of the money they lavished on the Australian Head office has not been spent in employing staff that are there to serve their customers. I recently bought a CX-9 from a local dealership and they have given very good service, however, I have a few niggles and suggestions that I wanted to convey to the technical department for consideration. The dealership said that they have no way of passing on feedback and suggested the Head office. Unfortunately I didn't even make it in the front door, an officious receptionist told me that there was noone there that would be able to listen to my suggestions and she wasn't able to let me speak to the office manager. What is the point of the building if not to encourage a connection with the people that buy their cars? A zero for customer relations! Oh and I have 45 years experience in vehicle design and electronics!

The issue is in my mazda cx-9. One of my headlights gets a lot of water in it when it rains or i do car wash.
Mazda has declined the claim saying its normal condensation. They think customers are fool. I understand difference between fog and water. My headlight has a lot of water in it - the other headlight has been perfectly fine. Raising the matter with Victorian Ombudsman & the ACCC.
Ps: car is still under Mazda warranty.

Had a query about a Mazda I own, as I couldn't get a proper answer through a dealership. Mazda Australia were hopeless and just said go back to the dealer. They said they would raise a query but "couldn't guarantee contact" meaning they couldn't guarantee getting back to me. Couldn't believe it. That is atrocious service!

Have purchased a new CX30 Astina. Aside from one issue which I am hoping the dealership will resolve for me, I love the vehicle. Finish, and styling are excellent.

Appalling, unimaginable customer support.
My new car developed a gearbox issue at 8500k. My local Mazda dealer diagnosed the issue. Mazda Australia kept asking them to explore further into the drive train, pulling apart the gearbox. Eventually not honouring the warranty stating as no manufacturing defects could be found it must be how the car was used.
Mazda Australia’s customer support basically shouted at me to stop calling refused to escalate my concerns and directed me to the dealer who in turn can’t do anything without Mazda’s approval.
Mazda Australia will not change their position on the claim, the dealer has 15h logged tearing my car apart and can’t release the car without being compensated.
So new car, 5y unlimited k warranty, car sitting in dealer with gearbox pulled apart and no resolution in sight. Mazda Australia shouting not to call them.

The entire process is designed to confuse the consumer, not identifying exactly what the issue is or where the resolution is. In the meantime Mazda racks up bills on your behalf and then offers no reasonable communication on the issue.

I love my car, I’ve always respected this manufacturer, but I am appalled and disgusted with the treatment I’ve received from Mazda Australia.

If you buy a Mazda, so not expect any help from Mazda Australia.

The trees, therefore, must be such old and primitive techniques that they thought nothing of them, deeming them so inconsequential that even savages like us would know of them and not be suspicious. At that, they probably didn't have too much time after they detected us orbiting and intending to land. And if that were true, there could be only one place where their civilization was hidden.
He wondered if he should disclose the truth to his friends. It would be a risky move. Yes, the truth would make things a lot easier if they all stayed on the same page, but the truth might fracture the group leaving everything in even more of a mess than it was not telling the truth. It was time to decide which way to go.

Poor customer support. Making me running around unnecessarily. Was certain to upgrade my vehicle to a new Mazda but after the experience, not anymore. This will be my last Mazda vehicle.

My local Mazda dealership applied for out of warranty assistance on my 2016 BT50 due to the egr cooler failing at 140000ks. This is a common fault that is almost getting into manufacturing defect territory.

The assistance claim was denied despite the fact that it is a known issue with this engine and the vehicle is only just out of warranty.

Very disappointing Mazda. However it seems that when it comes to customer support that Mazda are not really interested.

I have a brand new 2021 Mazda 3. I was driving
35 km/h and all of the sudden the axle was
broken. This accident at higher speed could resulted in death or serious injury.beside that this car have annoying alarms
which pops up from nowhere without any
sense. The sudden break alarm in a very
normal driving situation is horrible.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The contact number 180003411 continues to fail and you cant get through to customer service!
I have a BT50 which has now had 7 replacement Alpine Radio units and requires another still as number 7 is also faulty!
Its so frustrating when Mazda are aware of the problem with these units.
I have wasted so much time having to travel an hour each way to the dealer with no resolve in sight!
Case No: 1803265
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CALL ME BACK TO DISCUSS THIS ISSUE?

Very disappointing from Mazda. I have Mazda 3 2014. Always been serviced from Mazda dealer and looked after. At 80 k driven transmission failed. How is it possible unless there was manufacturing fault. I lodged a claim with Mazda and got rejected as they said it was out of warranty period. My point was when the car was always serviced through the dealer and only done 80k. But they didn’t cover any percentage of the quoted price which was 7k. Never buying a Mazda again. Stay away from them.

Faulty New Car delivered and NOT taking any responsible steps to get sorted. Pathetic. Wasted my money. Guys be aware and think about after sale services and their shifty reps and filthy Services.

As discussed by phone the unit is still not usable even though your specialist technician advised that its now been rectified. (See the short video’s below taken this morning.)

Dennis (Bendigo Mazda) dropped my vehicle back this morning and I even didn’t get out my driveway without the unit failing once again!

This is not only a complete inconvenience but totally frustrating to say the very least. This has been a failure since purchase and has been replaced 7 times? Why is MAZDA not rectifying the problem with these radio/ information units?

What can be done to finally fix this issue that has continued since purchasing the BT50!

They have no respect and value for the customers! If you ever ask me to buy Mazda, I would never do it again! And won’t recommend to anyone with the support they are providing! Shame!

We own a 2012 mazda cx5 2.2 ltr twin turbo vehicle has full service record mostly at mazda dealerships, 3 weeks ago and a week after its 150000 k service we noticed the car become very sluggish. We went back to wanneroo mazda to have it checked out the technician came out and said the internal flap thats like a wastegate in the turbo had broken off, he said that it happens from a weak weld on the hinge of that flap he recommended that we ask mazda Australia for assistance as it will cost $7000 to get fixed. An hour later he called me and said mazda Australia declined his request for assistance. I then personally opened a dispute with mazda Australia regarding the matter told them that there technician recommended that we seek there help in regards to covering all or some of the cost, i also told them that our extended warranty only ended last year and we would appreciate any help to getting this car fixed as its our family car and budgets are tight these days $7000 is unrealistic sum for us with a young family. Was told they will get back to me with in 3 to 5 business days, 9 days later 23/9/21 they call sorry we cant help because your car is now too old and out of warranty! Very very disappointing outcome we are happy to take your money for years but when you need assistance and especially for something there technician admits to being a defect on there turbo and when there technician says i recommend you talk to mazda Australia they tell you to get stuffed! Somthing seems wrong about all this i think they are trying to avoid another recall! Useless people its very upsetting. My advice is stay away from mazda i would give a negative star if i could but unfortunately 1 star is lowest. I will never buy or deal with mazda again!

I own a Mazda CX-9 Azami 2020, a well desired vehicle. But I had very bad experience from Mazda dealership. My experience with Hobart Mazda service department was terrible. I got the usual feedback request after the first service of my car from Maxda Australia and I have given my feedback showing all the problems and terrible experiences I had to face with Hobart Mazda service. But no one from Mazda Australia contacted me yet regarding this. When I spoke to some of my friends and family members who use Mazda brand, they all shared the same opinion that Mazda is not concerned about the customers after the sale. They are interested only in sales. It doesn't mean every dealership is bad but most of them are. And also Mazda Australia has no control over the dealerships. Even though Mazda as a vehicle is very good and comfortable, I would not suggest any of my friends or family to buy Mazda. And also I will not consider Mazda if I am to buy another vehicle.
