Mayday Escape Rooms

Highly recommend. Tried both escape rooms with 2 people, really well designed and thought provoking puzzles. Rooms were quite different to each other so maintained interest well. Would come again with new themes!

Tim and Chris were amazing hosts and so well run and organised. We did the Pharmacy room as a family with 3 kids and absolutely had the best time. Highly recommended. It was our first escape room and guarantee it wont be the last, will be back to try the other rooms.

On a recent trip to Beechworth we decided to take a visit to the old Mayday asylum and do an escape room. So, we jumped online and the booking process was easy and simple, with questions answered almost immediately. We arrived about 10 minutes early and the staff/owners were awesome, they were friendly, accomodating and gave some insight and facts about the old asylum which really set the mood for the escape room. Anyway, they prepared us with the back story and off we went…. Now without letting the cat out of the bag with the details of the rooms, they were challenging and exciting, all participants in our group loved the experience and thought that went into making the experience sensational. So if you’re ever in the region of Beechworth or surrounds do yourself a favour and get onto the team at Mayday Escape Rooms and have an enjoyable, fun, challenging session.

The lovely Tim and Lexi took us through an awesome escape room this arvo and made the experience really great! They were very accomodating when we had to change our booking time and we loved the actually complexity of the room! Very clever! Thanks again.

We did the Pharmacy escape room. It was really fun, great story and puzzles. Awesome setting of the old asylum. The hosts Tim and Chris are lovely, and their cute dogs. We will have to come back to try out the other room!

Tim and Chris are so passionate about what they do and it pays off. We did pharmacy and it was so much fun!

I did the Pharmacy Room which is amazingly part of the old asylum itself as part of a hens party group. Tim and Chris were fantastic hosts who have engineered a story that needs solving rather than just getting out of a locked room. 10/10 am recommending this place to everyone

Amazing Escape Room! Stopped through Beechworth for a few days and this was by far the most memorable experience, 10/10.

Had a blast! The team put a lot of effort into the experience and stayed back a little later to let us get to the end of the room!

Had the best time ever.thought we'd get out of there in no time, BUT NO.we laughed till we cried. Staff were so friendly and helpful.going back to do another room.would highly recommend it!

I recently came here with my family and it was an absolute ball. The Pharmacy room had the perfect amount of both puzzle solving and thinking. The puzzles were though through very well and we alround had an amazing time. The workers at the time were easy going and very friendly. I would defiantly visit here again.

We did the hotel room escape room and it was fantastic! You were solving the crime rather than just trying to escape which was a twist we loved.

Tim and Chris were awesome hosts, their passion shows through their care, thoughtfulness and enthusiasm for escape rooms!

We have done more than 20 escape rooms in Australia and overseas and this is one of the top in Australia we have done!

Such an amazing experience being in the original asylum! A fun puzzle room hosted by two passionate and amazing people (and their cute doggos). Can’t wait to visit again on our next trip to Beechworth. Highly recommend Mayday escape rooms to anyone looking for a fun experience in Beechworth!

Last night we completed the Pharmacy room. It was fantastic!
By far the best escape room we have completed as a family.
To my amazement the room was actually part of the original asylum which added another dimension to this experience.
The resident owners were so polite and friendly, and we were made to feel so welcome.
Totally worth doing!

Kids and I had an absolute blast. Thanks for going the extra mile, I know you guys were flat out!
Staff role playing made it all the more fun.
Will be back to do the next room!

This experience was the best escape room I've been to yet. The puzzles and clues were really well thought out, and we had a great time solving it! The staff were really friendly and the rooms were of high quality. I definitely recommend a visit or two to Mayday Escape Rooms!
