30Overcooked fish and scallops. In fact scallop had fallen out of its batter. Very thin servings of fish. Not likely to return.
Ordered a medium chips and some potato cakes, they're slogan is cooked fresh while you wait, I waited 50 minutes for my food and for 20 of them they were sitting above the fryer going soggy, very oily and horrible wait times whilst the stuff stood around starting at the fairy's
I want to reply to Joshua Kacimaiwai about hes very bad review about this Fish&Chips shop.
I've been a customer for the last 6 years and never this happened to us or to our family and friends.
Very disappointed seeing reviews like this trying to misleading a small business who's trying their best for their customers.

Wowwwwww beautiful new shop very well done up very clean excellent service owners very nice and bubbling people with gorgeous smile and food I have already eaten there few times everything so far was just so fresh and delish.keep up the great job you guys are doing

Great place for fresh fish and chips.
Plus great hamburgers as well.
Plus even has seating and tables in a undercover section.
Plus staff are friendly as well and even helpful with any questions.
The only issue is that there's limited space for parking.
Highly recommend a drive down ocean grove enjoy the scenery and try the local fish and chips at Mavros fish and chips. Great service, friendly staff and the best fish & chips
Fish was fresh but we didn't like the batter. It was like the fish was cooked in oil that was too cold as the batter whilst crispy was very oily. Same for the calamari - Flavour was very good but again extremely oily. Dim Sims weren't crispy. Chips and potato cakes were good.
Excellent service and brilliant fish. They actually do crumbed fish properly! Calamari strips were fresh too. Highly recommended.
Great food. Nice flake. Ordered online which was OK (but not great) but then had to wait 30 minutes on arrival even though the website was quoting a different time.
