Matrioshka - Russian Restaurant

The food is just ok but nothing special for the money they charge you and regrettably the quality of service is the same as it was in the good old USSR, way below Australian standards.

Food was ok but nothing special, best dish was a pickled mushrooms and a Russian bread. Just one olivie salad and not enough for all of as (and they took all food away at 10 o'clock ; (We are not coming back.

Friendly staff and great authentic Russian food. Atmosphere might not be for everyone but it was certainly fun and an enjoyable experience! Good for families with kids too.

For $70 per person, you get a lack of entrees, mains to share, and some kabak-style music which was found in the 1970s in the Soviet Union. Oh yeah, and don’t expect a quality of their Live performers, they simply have no talent. Rather go to Nevsky if you are looking for some Russian food or Rasputin if you are after an action. Also the waiting staff were unprofessional and were making inappropriate jokes and comments about us, deserving a punch in their faces

Nice Russian restaurant, good music. Your experience of this place will depend more on the company of people you are with and less on the food and entertainment. If you opt in for the banquet you will get plenty of food so pacing yourself is recommended.

Fantastic night out. Singing, dancing and delicious food, many of which I haven't tried before. Thank you Matrioshka for putting on a great show for us.
