The food was fantastic, the scones with jam and cream a personal favourite. As far as Mother’s Day events went, it was perfect. We had a table in the back, which was great because we could hear each other and had a bit more space. The service was also excellent, there was always a friendly face floating around to help if we needed.

My daughter recently received a surprise box of 12 of your cupcakes delivered along with a beautiful bottle of French rose for her birthday.
The whole gift was beautifully presented. The cupcakes arrived in perfect condition. They were absolutely to die for. They were soooo deliciously light, moist and chocolatey. Just perfect.

With all the understandable restrictions for a Mother's Day like no other, the hunt was on for a High Tea home delivery.

Mary Eats Cake was referred to us by a friend and on checking out their Mother's Day offerings, selected High Tea consisting of:

• Assorted Mini Cake Box (12 Sweets)
• 2 Scone Boxes (8 Scones with jam & cream)
• Bouquet of Tulips

This very popular service was already booked out for Mother's Day, so opted for delivery on Saturday.

Delivery was confirmed the day prior as between 9am-3pm and they arrived at 9: 20am.

They were beautifully boxed, with instructions for reheating the scones.

So out with the fine china for High Tea and a wonderful afternoon of indulgence.

Scones were so light and fluffy. Perfect! Delicious!

The selection of assorted cakes was equally delicious.

Today i received the most delightful suprise. A picnic box filled with the most delicious items, scones, mini cakes, cheese, crackers, fresh jam and proper cream. The whole pack came so amazingly fresh and well presented. The items were all made with knowledge, love, soul and top quality ingredients.
This has to be one of the best (and most decadent) suprises my son and i have ever received.
A guaranteed delight to the palate. Our taste buds are still dancing with joy!
HIGHLY recommended place to eat at or to purchase a gift with a difference for a loved one.

Arranged a high tea to be delivered to Mum on her birthday. From getting a call back on Good Friday, to giving me a heads up on delivery time, the service was fantastic. And then there was the High Tea itself. Just wonderful. Colourful, fresh, and very very tasty. Thank you, you made Mum’s day. Would recommend to anyone looking to impress a special someone for any reason at all.

It was nice but i dont feel $59 worth. Sandwiches were not made fresh today sadly. Soggy in part and hard in others. Seemed a nice venue though

Absolutely gorgeous location for all of Melbournes weather, beautiful interior, yummy food and great service! So many reasons to visit this place. Hens, birthday pressent, christmas pressent, mothers day, a general catch up with family or friends.the list goes on.

My cousin and I had a traditional high tea today at Mary eats cake which was a lovely experience in a great location. The service we received was excellent and the range of both savoury and sweet dishes were delicious accompanied with Champagne and a choice of different teas, Lemon Myrtle being my absolute favourite. Well worth a visit.

I visited Mary Eats Cake for a set meal plan. For the amount I paid, I had unlimited scones, tea and mimosas which were all lovely.
The aesthetic is lovely and a very upper class feel without being snobbed off.

What a gorgeous little gem. Had my sister-in-laws baby shower here and was a perfect venue. We sat for the morning sitting. The smoked salmon on potato Kristi is heavenly, all the food was devine, and coupled with Pimms. Yummy

My Mum and I had a beautiful afternoon at Mary Eats Cake in Montrose. The staff were friendly and courteous. The food and tea was delicious and more than enough for two people. I would highly recommend.

Lovely mountain setting, gorgeous pretty interior. High tea was lovely. Really nice coffee. Will definitely be back.

We had high tea here for my birthday and couldn't be happier. Everything was good, there was more food than we could finish! The tea was good, we ended up buying some of the berry to take home.

At the end, the waitress brought over four more scones with jam and cream for us to take home! Such a kind gesture, I can't wait for afternoon tea.:)
