Marpha Indian And Nepali Restaurant

We had take away and were presently surprised. The restaurant was empty but the take away customers just kept coming. A good sign. As was the food. Couldn't fault it. Loved every morsel.

We just had dinner here for the 1st time and I can tell you it wont be the last. The food was delicious I highly recommended this place.

I loved this place! Recommend for everyone to try tha lamb korma and butter chicken. The quality of the food was amazing, as well as the customer service not to mention how good it tasted! Will come back here more because I absolutely enjoyed eating here.

New Years Eve
Despite everyone cancelling their bookings due to Covid - and we found ourselves in an empty restaurant - the owner was attentive and friendly and the food was simply delicious. We eat a lot of Indian food and this was 10/10. How lucky to spend our evening eating such beautiful food on New Year’s Eve.

Samosa was nice but the samosa chat was ok. I think momo needs to be improved it looks loke frozen rather than fresh but the momo achar was really nice love it. Tandoori chicken was amazing the way they serve hot and big portion love it.

The best Indian restaurant we have found bayside (and we’ve tried a lot). Amazing mixed grill, fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!

People who love eating indian food and haven't yet been to this place, you guys are missing something in life.

Do Not Buy a Scoopon Deal from this Restaurant. I did and when i decided to use it they would not honor it. They said i was only valid Mon-Thur, when the fine print clearly said Mon-Sun.i have been a regular at this restaurant, but never again. If you make a deal with someone you SHOULD honor it!

Ordered tonight for the first time and it's hands down the best indian going around. I had the Lamb madras which couldn't be faulted in the slightest, i preferred it to be a bit hotter but that was an easy fix at home. My girlfriend who's vegetarian LOVED the paneer butter curry as well.

Thanks heaps, we will be back and i highly recommend this place to anyone else looking for indian over this isolation period.

Had takeaway tonight. The samosas are probably the best I have ever had. The curries were spiced perfectly. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

Had takeaway delivered by store. Arrived sooner that stated. Found it was excellent, our first experience of your food and we all enjoyed it. Family dinner pack, with lamb Madras and eggplant marsala for vegetarian option. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

Decent food at a good price, but importantly also very consistent. Excellent delivery service using Menulog. Ordered over a dozen times and they have never been late, in fact, most orders arrive at least 10 mins early. Excellent service.

Great food, polite and friendly service and comfortable atmosphere. The dishes tasted amazing and there is even the ability to choose between thigh or breast meat with the chicken dishes which was a refreshing change. Overall a great experience.

Marpha never disappoints and we always come back. From the complimentary appetizers, to the friendly service, delicious curry, best garlic naan and excellent value, you really cant go wrong. They also specialise in superb balti curries which is quite unique in Melbourne. Whether its take away or eat in, its always great. Thank you marpha

Made a return visit to an old favourite for dinner last night. Wasn’t disappointed. Outstanding meal and such good value. What this local Nepalese/Indian restaurant lacks in atmosphere it makes up for with its delicious food. Thanks and see you again soon.

I was very disappointed with my meal. This restaurant has gone down hill dramatically over the past 6 months. Maybe new owners? The Butter chicken was shocking. It was bitter and just tasted of tomato paste. The Rice was plain boliled longrain. Always use to be basmati. The eggplant curry was very oily, not much eggplant and just bulked out with onions. The Lamb koftas tasted processed and tiny portions. Naan bread was very oily and bland in taste. I won't be going back. Ive given them 2 chances and no improvement. Very over-rated and not good value for money, or real tasy Indian food. A shame, cause it use to be fantastic- but unfortunately, not now. Not impressed at all.

Last time I ordered butter chicken from marpha and taste was delicious full with authentic indian flavours. I tried butter chicken from another indian restaurants but they make too much sweet but this one is really delicious I highly recommend Marpha indian restaurant.

Food was very plain and simple. It was like there food was frozen and they reheated it. It needs to be more original traditional Indian foods. Not mixed up with random veggies that aren't native to Indians.
