Marpha Indian And Nepali Restaurant

Our first visit to this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and the best garlic naan ever. The menu offered plenty of choices. We will definitely return.

I have spent a fair amount of time in India and Nepal. I know the region and the food well! This is a fantastic place. I would argue this would be the best in the city. Love, love, love this place. As good as it gets outside of India. We come here a lot. I couldn't recommend it enough.
Very well priced. There alcohol is well priced as well. Bring all your friends you will not be disappointed.

For Nepalese restaurant, its was awesome, quick service friendly staff. Chow mein was the star out of whole order everybody loved it, will look forward to visit again sometime

Good serving sizes, and quite tasty curries. Just a little slow at serving, but otherwise friendly staff.

Simple decor, but great food. Everything that came out of the kitchen smelled delicious.

Beef Vindaloo and Chicken Tikka Masala absolutely amazing. We ordered with uber eats and it took an hour. If you’re hungry I suggest to pick up. The Roti was soso good as well. We will order again.

Easy 5 here. I've been a few times and the food is consistently delicious. Hint, get some of them Momo's in ya mouth. Hoowee

We have had take away from here before and it was tasty. Tonight, the food was good but they got our order wrong. When we queried why we were given rice instead of fries, they said that's what we ordered. Looks like we were overcharged then. Not happy.

Have had food from here several times and is always very good. Great taste, welcoming staff and well worth trying.

Delicious food; my favourites are Palak Pakora, Chicken Korma, Dahl Makhani, Malai Kofta and their garlic naan is scrumptiously baked! Really lovely staff and a great local Indian restaurant.

Food is tasty but make sure they give you what you ordered. They'll charge the full price for extra's and give you plain rice instead.

We've ordered take away from Marpha a few times now and it's been consistently delicious. We especially love the butter chicken and lamb madras. The samosas are delicious too, as well as the garlic naan (it has the perfect amount of garlic). We've tried other Indian restaurants in the Mentone/Parkdale/Mordialloc area and Marpha is definitely our favourite.

I have to say this place has one of the best if not the best Indian/Nepali cuisine in Melbourne. Been all around Melbourne but the food here was best so far. Each dish we ordered was equally amazing.
Shout out to the owner, he was very polite and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit!

Ordered a few times of take aways from Marpha since the lockdown and never felt disappointed.
The butter chicken is so tasty! And vegetable masala is good too. I'm not sure how authentic the dishes are but I enjoy them every time. Price is really reasonable too.

We really like this place. Food is excellent and so is the service. The owner is a very nice guy to say the least and always cateris for our requests.

Waited 45 minutes before they took our order. Meanwhile people kept coming in to pick up takeaway orders. Food is nice though.

Tried most veg starters at once. Felt as if they were all frozen items which were refried. Even veg momo for which we went there were not great. Taste and presentation both lacking.

Masala Tea was however awesome.

May be they are good for non-veg as there were few more seats occupied.

Have been dining at Marpha for take away and dine in for nearly 8 years. Best on the Mornington Peninsula. Always a dining experience.

We just had dinner here and I have now found a great place to eat. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
