Market Lane Coffee - Collins St reviews
55 One of my favorites in Melbourne. Great great service. I got a canelé and its one of the best I’ve had. Also tried the coffee spritz, very interesting and refreshing.
The free sparkling water was a nice touch!
Love the croissant. Bummed that I can't get almond milk coffee. But the full cream milk cappuccino was good and strong. Two options: full cream or oat milk. I dislike the taste of oat milk.
Timothy McCready brought me here and they gave me poor service like he told them to. Coffee took a lonnnggg time to make.
Not my cup of tea (or coffee). Coffee cups are too small for double shot and they don't stir your coffee so the taste isn't right.
Only have full cream or oat milk options which is crazy for a business that specialises in only coffee.
Usually busy between 8 and 9 am on weekday mornings, market Lane Coffee has been making seriously amazing coffee for years. Market Lane caters for serious coffee lovers as it sells only coffee and tea made from coffee leaves. You can also buy lots of coffee accessories, but I just like to go there for a robust tasty espresso. The service is excellent, and the one occasion, I had a disruptive customer. The shop assistant helped him leave and gave me a free coffee. By the way, this disruptive customer who sat next to me decided to get on his phone and started swearing constantly to someone on the phone really by the way, this disruptive customer who sat next to me, decided to get on his phone and started swearing constantly to someone on the phone really loudly. It isn’t the best place to drive to make it; instead, it is a stopover before heading into the office. There’s a tram stop on Collins Street just outside the store, which is the last up before the tram turns onto Spring Street. Limited milk options and the only size option is small which they charge $6 for. Coffee is just fine
One of my fav coffee shops in Melbourne. Quick grab of a cuppa for morning runs.
Flat white is smooth and nutty. Their pastry is yummm!
Just love this place. The staff were really friendly, coffee were made with care and absolutely to my taste, superb. Baguette and croissants were excellent too!
The effortless minimalist design of the place just makes you feel great being there.
More than just coffee

: Coffee and pastries are the perfect combination, and Market Lane Coffee never disappoints! With several locations scattered throughout Melbourne's inner suburbs, this cozy spot has become my go-to for a delightful caffeine fix and delectable treats.
: But let me tell you about their Tuesday mornings - a special affair where they bring in the most heavenly madeleines. I had the pleasure of indulging in their Yuzu and Chocolate madeleines, and oh my, they were pure bliss! The yuzu variant offered a refreshing twist with its light and zesty flavors, while the chocolate one took me on a journey of intense Valrhona chocolate goodness.
Came across this hidden gem of a cafe on Collins street in the Melbourne CBD, whilst walking off the cheeseburger and chips for lunch. Decor is very art deco giving an old time vibe. Great service and coffee.
Beautiful baguette and latte when I needed it. Quick and friendly. Just what i needed on the way to a meeting and just off the train.
Posh end of Melbourne. Good people watching pavement location. Clearly popular with locals by the queue. Croissants were not the best. Overcooked. My wife is French!
Nice coffee, peaceful ambiance, great when you can a grab a seat inside on the day like today. Staff are really friendly and willing to help with any questions related to their coffee. Recommended!
Beautifully designed coffee shop on the Paris end of Collins Street (near Parliament station). There are outdoor seating to people watch and comfy booth tables inside. Great coffee and lovely staff.
Super busy when I came at 9: 30am on a weekday to get my flat white coffee, but it was totally worth the wait. Delicious flavour. Will definitely be back.
The flat white and cap is great. Hoeever only offers a single cup size and no skimmed milk options.
Market lanes coffee is always very smooth and very consistent. You can count on it always be good. I prefer this venue as it is super intimate and chill compared to is busy counterpart at Queen Vic.
Always yummy coffee. Not cheap, but there's a 7-eleven across the road if that's what you're after.
Lovely coffee place. Unfortunately don't do mocha or almond milk. The coffee was really nice though.
Market Lane in Collins Street is same amazing coffee but with ample seating and a great location at the Paris end of Collins! First class!
