Being refurbished, right now.
Although apparently open for business, I believe it'll be 6 weeks before full function is provided. Meals not yet available.
The owners, (not certain if they're new), have invested heavily in this charming pub, and tastefully.

Fantastic. Family Friendly Environment. The food l would recommend to anyone, but don't take my word for book a table and should go and try it themselves. The Staff is so friendly they treat you.like FAMILY.

Beautiful Chinese food and parma, the scenery and decor is like stepping back into the 80s I love it but sad to hear it will be renovated.
Oh and the prices are awesome especially for beer.

It's an old run down pub, that battles on and still survives. Friendly staff, meals are quick, simple and on the low end of the $ budget

Extent food staff.just been taken over buy new owner. Chinese that leasing kitchen.have good boot.mm something new coming to market.

It was ok. Staff were nice, the special fried rice wasn't too special, lacked flavour. The cashew beef and veg was ok, Honeyed prawns was average, the sauce softened the batter, I prefer the honey toffee sticky style sauce. The steamed dim sims were good.

Went there last tuesday (10 may) to celebrate my birthday.it was our first visit there under new ownership.whilst the food was still yummy we were thoroughly disappointent by the huge price rise (from $9.50 per meal to per meal) ordered 3 meals from the " specials" board with a garlic bread and cost us just over $50 never again at those prices

Beautiful tasty Chinese and parma, the decor is reminiscent of the 80s and I will be sad to see it when it has been renovated.
Beer prices are amazing!

49th wedding Annaversary well what a surprise greated with a warm welcome a decorative table with an Annaversary card & chocolate hearts. The meal was first class and can only say if you haven't been there you are missing out. Thanks to all for a memorable time, the happy couple

The stuff are great but the new owners are snobby, ignorant and have no respect.
I have and will continue to report them to council for the loud music they play on Saturday. There is absolutely no need to have music up so loud.

Staff in restaurant section was very friendly, in the bar the barman was super friendly, steak and veg were yum but was very grizzly

Our first time. Loved it. Reminded us of pubs from home (country nsw-vic border) Food was great. Service excellent. Will be going back again.

Good food, great staff, was a good night. Went again for lunch this time, the lunch specials were great, wide range on menu.
Very good price for a large meal, I highly recommend this establishment. I only waited a half hour and it was well worth it. The staff were very pleasant and willing to help with every need. Can also provide private room for meeting lunch and dinners as well. Check them out, you will not be disappointed.

Had fish and chips and sticky date pudding. For a budget restaurant was awesome, everything cooked nicely.

The food is average, there's a lack of decent wines and beers. It is a friendly place which helps.

I've been going here for years and the meals are usually great. The last few times though not so great.
This evenings meal took over 45 minutes to be served because they were "Too busy serving takeaway and deliveries". The meals were minimal meat and what looked like an entire bag of frozen beans and carrots and the waitress looked and served like she hated being there.
All in all it was pretty ordinary and hugely disappointing at how the standard has slipped.
Bar staff however were nice so good job girls!
The second star rating was for them otherwise it would have been 1 only.

Whenever visiting in Ballarat we have lunch here. Good selection from main menu and specials on the board. Don, Michelle and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to have a meal.
