Made a booking and waited nearly an hour and a half until our mains arrived with no apology. The table next to us orders arrived before ours which is not right. Food was ok but wait time and service not acceptable.

Incredibly disappointing, I haven’t ever left a negative review but this is a PSA - Never have a I been to a winery where the wait staff, one in particular, have made me want to immediately get up and leave. The only reason I didn’t was because I was trying to enjoy a nice day with family. Our waitress completely ruined the entire experience, she was very condescending and was telling me I had agreed to a set menu (which I had specifically asked if we had to have and was told no). When I tried to explain this didn’t happen, I was told I had agreed to terms and conditions over the phone when speaking to another staff member upon making the initial booking months in advance (this also never happened, no one mentioned terms and conditions when I was making the booking). We were left with no option other than to dine on the set menu. Furthermore, we had asked multiple times to have garlic pizzas and instead received herb, were then accused of trying to dine and dash (we were absolutely not doing this, we went outside to take photos…). To put the icing on the cake, we ended up spending a lot more money than we had anticipated due to being forced to dine on the set menu. Will absolutely never be coming back and no one else should waste their time or money either. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Also, Many Hands, I’ve read your reviews on other negative comments, that fact that you are a small family run business isn’t an excuse for poor customer service and certainly isn’t a reason people are leaving unfavourable reviews.

Had high hopes for this place and wanted to support locals. Unfortunately witnessed the owners speak horribly to customers which was off putting.
Pizza was lovely but other food was disappointing for prices.

Terribly disappointed with everything except the pizza. We went there recently with some friends based on reviews and other friends recommendation.

20% public holiday surcharge; floaties in dirty water bottle;
Tiny cheese plater was charged as "large"when there are only 5 thin slices of cheese, 1 piece of bread;
Bocconcini salad came without bocconcini but no communication to us and was going to get charge the same price as they "put extra other ingredients instead";
Had to asked for chilli oil multiple times, in the end we were given the oil at the front and took it to the table by ourself (like we work there).
Why would anyone come back when there are plenty of amazing restaurants/wineries offering great service nearby?

What an amazing place and two wonderful owners. Our grp of 4 ladies have just ordered dessert. Our mains were soooo delicious. Highly recommend the 2019 woody chardy. Thank you so much for a fantastic dining experience.

A dear friend took us for a lovely Saturday drive and we had lunch here. We had the best pizza we have ever ate in Australia here! The base was incredibly yummy, the sauce tasted like it had love in it. The meatballs were to die for and the gigantic shrimp in the garlic shrimp almost caused an altercation at the table with all of us wanting the last piece. I cannot wait to go back and highly recommend. The prices were fine and although I don’t drink wine everyone was enjoying theirs.

So incredible disappointed in the staff here. We came for a wine tasting for a 25th with a group of 20+ people, it was so incredibly rushed, they yelled at us to be closer to the bar in a completely empty restaurant, the whole experience was about 15 minutes and he literally said you have 3 minutes left. I have never been to a wine tasting that left such a sour taste in my mouth. The wine might be nice but the staff made us feel like such an inconvenience. We had been to the winery across the road and had such a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t even bother coming here, it felt like they saw us as an easy way to make a quick buck and kick us out asap. As someone who works a lot with businesses providing reviews and testimonials on experiences, I cannot believe how horrible they were to 23 people. Do yourself a favour and go across the road and save yourself from the rude staff who couldn’t care less if you’re there or not. Worst winery tasting I’ve ever experienced.

Incredibly disappointing experience. Had a booking of 23 people and turned up to an empty winery to be rushed and pushed through the tastings to feel not welcomed and rushed through. Upon leaving we made the owners aware of how unprofessional they were, how poor the service was and how other wineries across the the road were second to none (souma winery) and to quote the owners of many hands “we don’t care if you buy bottles of wine we make enough money from other purchases” embarrassing and a joke of winery. Would give 0 stars if we could.

Mixed review because the food was a good portion but several dishes tasted average. The staff were friendly but also inattentive, we needed to flag them down for anything we needed. The front of house lady was fairly stern when there was confusion about where we should sit.

We had to choose the set menu option with a group of 6. The most disappointing thing was that although the entres came out at a reasonable time, the mains took painfully long. About 1-1.5 hours between entre and main. They might've forgotten our order because we were one of the first to arrive but most other tables had received their dishes before us.

We flagged this multiple times and were actually ready to leave but couldn't because we were stuck with the set menu.

Hence, a less than average experience for upwards of $480.

Superb. Amazing service and sensational food in a beautiful and relaxing environment. The wood fired pizzas are sublime.

You must try the wines. Take a designated driver

One of the best pizzas! It’s an absolute must to try it there!

Why 4 stars:
- in kid’s pasta with meatballs there was only one meatball, which was quite surprising for the cost of it.
- we weren’t lucky with the service.

Outstanding pizzas with a nice doughy base. The Shiraz is beautifully light.
Seafood isn't particularly good. Excellent friendly service.

This gem in the Yarra Valley has fabulous food without the usual fixed/set price menu. The staff and their service are exemplary - keen to ensure that clients are comfortable and well cared for.

It's one of the best wood fire pizzas I've eaten. Great wine selection and the staff go beyond to make the experience pleasant and easy. Looking forward to going back for a long enjoyable lunch

Glorious food and amazing staff who were very attentive to allergies and understanding of our hungry kids!

We had lunch here after our micro-wedding a few weeks ago and it was absolutely wonderful. The team were so accommodating for us, even going so far as fixing the wedding cake that broke on the way. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious with very generous portions, the views were amazing and just the most beautiful team of people. Thank you so much for making our day that much more special!

Unfortunately, very poor service. Owners need a lesson in customer service and the set menu needs to be revisited. The set menu is compulsory for groups of 6 or more but is more expensive than the cost of the individual items on the menu. Very inhospitable place.

As a tour operator the food is amazing, friendly staff and very well priced. I’d say they make one of the best pizzas in the Yarra Valley and when comes to their garlic prawns there is no better anywhere.

What a rip off! They insisted we had a set menu when there was only 5 adults. Made us order food and spend money we could have done without! Will never be back and shall tell everyone I and my guests know to NEVER go! Think guys! You can do better!

We visited Many Hands Winery on the weekend and we had a fantastic experience. The pizza's were so good, highly recommend the Italian Sausage. The rose was delicious too. Customer service was fantastic, would love to visit this winery again next time we are in the region
