Mansfield Visitor Information Centre reviews
37The staff were very helpful and it was also great to see some history on the Scar Tree and also happened upon an old Urn out the back.
Thank you very much to the lady helping us plan our 4x4 trip! Cant remember her name but she was a gem and we couldnt have asked for any better information than she gave us!
Cheers
Very informative and interesting displays. Helpful and friendly staff member available for a chat. Adjacent to the Mansfield wetlands which is an easy stroll for some local birdlife and signed trees and bushes
The lady at the desk gave us some great advice on what there is to do around the area and really knows the 4wd tracks well!
Went to a cycling event which started at the info centre. We found the folk to be friendly and helpful
Only fair. Told me stuff I didn't want to know. Trying to suggest a caravan park at Jamieson. Stayed in town and tripped around from there.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Centre was clean and well laid out. Got heaps of info about Mansfield and surrounds.
Nice place to park, learn something about old railway in Mansfield and other local sights, have a pleasant stroll or ride along railway trail.
The person behind the counter had very little knowledge of Mansfield or surrounding areas, just keep referring us to the Web page. The ladies at the historic railway station were far more knowledgeable and helpful.
Also the information centre had a no cash policy.
Therefore they missed out on a $70 book sale
The staff here are consistently very helpful and friendly. The immediate area is also worth walking around for an hour or more
Our first point of contact in Mansfield to get to know about what attractions on offer for visitors. Very friendly and very informative customer service.
We spoke to Jennine about 4WDing in the High Country. She showed us many huts, 4WD tracks, walking tracks and her favourite not as known campsites.
She was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything the High Country has to offer from Mansfield.
Thank you again Jennine.
The start (or end) of the great rail trail. The toilets here are a welcome sight at the end of a long ride. The information service is excellent and will tell you all about what you can do in the area.
Great place to visit and have bbq or picnic, shops, pub, takeaway shops, food work, iga shop. Friendly people in town. Would recommend going for a drive there also see the mountains and views from mount Buller it is great mountain views from top.
Best place. Very knowledgeable friendly staff. We had a great experience in a bush because of we got more information. Thanks.
Staff was very friendly and we received great information about the area as this is our first visit.
Came here to find out what to visit in the area. It was post snow season but that doesn't mean there isn't things to see up on the mountains. The staff were so lovely and helpful with a breadth of knowledge that was quite astounding. We weren't sure whether to go horse riding or mountain bike riding.
Lots of good maps, brochures and advice that had us almost reeling.
WIth a good central location and an absolute beautiful delightful setting, this is well worth visiting.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking. Toilets on site. Staff are fabulous.
