Mansfield Coffee Merchant. reviews
69Gr8 coffee, service was efficient and food was good except better consistency with cooking the hash browns would be preferable. Everything else was good.
Fantastic spot.
The service and food here is always consistently good, and it has a veryrelaxed atmosphere.)
Highly recommend.
This is a great eatery which offers a high quality coffee and a variety of choices on the menu including vegetarian and vegan options! Highly recommended.
Yummy. Great food and lovely service. It’s busy for good reason! Book ahead on the week-end. The chorizo baked eggs was absolutely amazing!
Pretty much a Melbourne cafe lifted out onto the Victorian Alps. Before lockdown II, seating was limited but quickly taken up as soon as the place opened in the morning. With a warning fireplace inside, the food is good quality but at Melbourne cafe prices.
The usual avo and toast is okay but generous, after all you're paying $18. The strawberries and cream pancake is a lovely indulgence but better shared between two. It is a lot of sweet cake to eat on the morning. I'd avoid the hash brown - what we had was a plop of quickly fried soggy potato extrusion that never crisped up.
Staff are friendly and attentive. The coffee is strong. Just what you need before heading up to the mountain.
Very welcoming. Best pot of tea with REAL tea. Delicious hit chocolate. Wonderful warm friendly atmosphere!
Food was yummy and coffee also. Disappointed in wait time for table service and food. Waiting for 45 minutes with children is not fun especially when making a booking.
Terrible service, sarcastic attitude and take away rules that make no sense. This is our experience today at the counter, whilst trying to place an order.
Nice coffees but unfortunately an extremely basic and poorly put together breakfast.
The 'Merchant Bowl' was a poor attempt at a 'Buddha Bowl'. It had no dressing and all ingredients (apart from the egg) were either cold or raw.
I've always stopped here when comming through Mansfield. It is some.of the best coffee Melboune has to offer and the food is fresh and scrumptious. Worth a stop for sure!
When you ask for egg and bacon you don't expect sauce and cheese. Took it back all they did was took of the cheese washed the Bacon and gave it back to me not happy if you dont eat sauce it can still be tasted waste of 10 dollars
Thanks for nothing
Thank you for my beautiful vegetarian fettuccine last night and my surprise muffin which I’ve just had for breakfast with my buellers coffee from your beans!
You brightened up my lonely evening after moving house yesterday! Love your work!
I'm trying to clear the Melbourne trip posts as soon as possible to make way for other posts.
So we drove more than 4 hours drive from Geelong to Mount Buller where we spent the next 2 nights. We arrived at the vibrant town of Mansfield after 3 hours journey. Looking at the watch, we still have time for a cup of coffee.lol! We stopped at Mansfield Coffee Merchant, by far the most popular cafe in this town.
The weather was sunny yet cold (it was June) so we decided to head inside instead. The big fire place provided the much needed warmth while enjoying our coffee. Since we were not that hungry, we just ordered a little bit to eat
toasted sourdough with Nutella and butter
Fried fish fingers with chips
pastries
Cold brew iced coffee
Energised once again, we started our last leg of the journey towards Mount Buller
I'm from SA and when I travel to VIC this cafe is a must. Best breakfast and incredible coffee.
Fantastic staff and chilled vibe
Great food, wonderful coffee and friendly and efficient staff. The place was pumping, too. Dog friendly, it was a fantastic experience. Now that we have moved into the area, this is my favourite breakfast & coffee haunt!
Been here yesterday, nice staff and service, yummy food, etc. 4.5 stars more. Only if the vegetables on top of the food are a bit fresher, it must be 5 stars.
Very noisy and chaotic environment. The food is good, the coffee is marginally better, but there's not much else going for it. If you like EVB in Emerald you'll like this place.
Best hot chocolate in Mansfield. Can't speak for the coffee since I had hot chocolate but it seemed great too. Great selection of newspapers. Really spacious but in a good way.
Coffee was delicious and the sevice was great. The girls are very friendly. We ordered brunch and all the meals looked great except mine. I had the Barramundi Wings and all they were was the area around the gills. Very little meat and not worth it.
Lovely breakfast on Australia Day! Despite being very busy, the service was friendly and prompt and the meal was spot on. We will definitely be back!
