Mansae Korean BBQ and Bar

Truly without a doubt one of the better KBBQ I've been to.

Let's get into it:

Service despite being outside was exceptional. Staffs were super attentive, and realised our needs as of they read our minds.

The meat was quality and you can tell it was quality. We bought the happiness set, and was extremely delighted. I would suggest that they have two complimentary rice with the set - you have to add on.

We also got the fried tteokbokki, albeit too sweet to our liking.

The cold noodles was a blessing, came with two sauce bottles, but no sauce was needed. It was exceptional.

One downside is that it's walk in only and if you wanted to dine in, and you weren't there during opening - expect to wait in line. Fortunately for us, being outside was a bonus. No stuffiness, no smoke in your face. Great breeze with fresh air.

If you come here, I highly recommend the happiness set, if more than 2 people, than there's other sets to reflect that.

Generally speaking, we've come to see that KBBQ is about $50~ odd per head. So I'd say this is a bit more on the expenny side, roughly $70 per head.

I would definitely come again. The experience and quality was unreal. Highly recommend!

P.s the sides were amazing, kimchi was on point and so were the sweet potatoes!

Food was served quick and the waiter are all very friendly.
Meat was fresh and the waiter cooked the meat very well. Will definitely come back again!

SOOO GOOD! A lot of Korean barbecue advertise their wagyu beef sets and it's usually good or ok. But let me tell you, the wagyu beef here at Mansae is on another level. The meat is 10000% high quality wagyu that is so soft and tender, it almost melts in your mouth! Also if you're stopping by, don't be shy with the kimchi, it is absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best Korean barbecue joints in Melbourne. We will be back!

Great service, they cooked the meat nicely for you. They have really tasty side dish like the sweet potatoes and tofu both of which I had seconds. Kimchi was real good too, ranked pretty high up my list. The meat has good marinate combine with that peanut oil it was so good. Would go again/10

One of the Best Korean BBQ restaurant in Melbourne. The Wagyu set is a must. They cook it on the table for us which is great. Some restaurants require us to cook it ourselves on the table. But the taste is not as perfect as if the restaurant does it for us on the table.
