Mansae Korean BBQ and Bar

When here for dinner. Waiting in like was not too long and the food came out very soon after being seated making it worth it. They wagyu was excellent 100% would recommend.

At here on a Friday night and it was busy, so get here early to line up. The food was tasty and good quality - the beef just melts in your mouth. The sides were plenty and the staff assisted in cooking too. It felt a little rushed but it’s understandable considering the demand. Overall a good kbbq option in the CBD.

This Korean restaurant is so popular but worth the 1 hour wait even though we came at 5 pm. The wagyu beef was so good. It just melts in your mouth. Definitely worth coming here but come early by 4.30 pm if you got a big group.

Probably the best KBBQ I have found in Melbourne. It definitely has hype with a long line (I suggest getting there at 4.45 pm to avoid the long line starting at 5pm).

The share platter is a good pick for a variety of food. We had the share platter plus three sides (seafood pancake/kimchi pancake/budae jiggae) and that was enough to feed six of us.

Exceptional service and fresh quality meat cuts. However the ventilation of this place is non-existent. Be prepared to walk out smelling like what u ate.

The BBQ sets are such good value for money! Lots of variety in terms of meat and additional dishes included. The seating area at the back makes you feel like you're in Korea.

Mansae is amazing! One of, if not, the best KBBQ restaurants in Melbourne. Bookings not available - must wait in line to be seated. Come early to avoid long lines.

Fantastic restaurant. If going just two people, highly recommend the Happiness or You & Me sets. A bit on the pricey side for what you get, but the quality and service is probably one of the best I have experienced. The Korean corn cheese is also a must get. I must add that getting more lettuce for your meal costs extra, but the quality is great and crispy, perfect for laying your meat in.

This place only loses 1 star because the bathrooms are located outside of the venue, and is not a reflection of the service/food.

The service was good but the food was normal. The grilled meat is just in a normal level below my expectation.

Nomnom! Rlly good quality bbq! Best I’ve eaten. Definitely will be back. Kind of cold to sit outside though! Don’t sit outside, especially near the alley way when it’s windy and cold?

The seafood pancake here taste was better than many other place，but not the traditional korean pancake way

the meat was good，but nothing too impressive

but the crab tofu soup was toooo much chilli oil on the top…nobody could drink oil…

and the ventilation system is too bad，so it is oily everywhere…and after this dinner even my underwear was oily smell…

The restaurant does not take a booking, so we lined up in the que before opening the restaurant.
The ventilation system in the restaurant was not as good as I thought.
As I'm not keen on meat, seafood pancake and Kimchi were the dishes I loved.

A popular kbbq located in the cbd. The service was great, very attentive and friendly. What makes Mansae unique are the variety of high quality wagyu cuts. The cold buck wheat noodles were amazing, being able to add your own mustard and vinegar level is great. The only down side is that they do not use charcoal BBQs so that smokey flavour is missing.

Excellent service, good food quality! It's definitely worth to queue 40 mins. Raw beef is my strongest recommendation!

Mansae is my all time favourite K-BBQ in the CBD. Extremely delicious food, good value and excellent service! Cant ask for more! I recently visited as a group of 5, and this place is still as busy as ever. Highly recommend you get there by 5pm to queue otherwise it will be a long wait for a table.

I love how they provide unlimited refillable banchan, so good! The meats were super fresh and delicious. Cant wait to return again!

This is by far the best kbbq joint in town and is for sure one to try at least once.

They only do wall ins at the moment so your weekend dinner will be a bit of a wait but it is by all means worth the wait.

Meat melts in my mouth, so delicious and great service. Highly recommended to others who like BBQ.

Quality of meat is quite nice. A little pricey for the likes of me considering the unusual amount my eating partner and I consume. Service was consistent. Cocktails were not prepared to my liking but oh well. To each their own.
Love the location which is easy for me to get to. Was recommended by a foodanista/blogger whom I respect and appreciate their opinions. Will probably be back due to the convenience.
