Izzy is an amazing teacher and my 8 year old son has been improving with every lesson. He looks forward to his lessons every week and I’m delighted with his ability to play beautiful songs on the piano.

A treasure trove of joy.
I’m a beginner learner of the Ukulele and have found my very happy place at Manhattan Music. I’m a big fan of life long learning and think it vitally important for older adults to try new things. So I tumbled into Manhattan Music and found the very kind and welcoming Gino.
I’m impressed with the quality and professional management of my one on one classes. My teachers have been patient and supportive. It’s lovely to meet a big group of friendly people of all ages, another big deal for me, who love turning up to learn, be challenged, extend their brain power.
I’ve recently encouraged my partner to take up Guitar and have found new family connections through our shared love of playing musical instruments, vocals and being silly. It’s all play after all and playfulness brings us together.
Having written this essay, I would like to note that I have not yet been paid. The Manhattan Music School is a fabulous space and I’m very grateful to be part of it. Congratulations Gino and Team, I’m looking forward to the concert at the Doncaster Inn Hotel on the 4 th of July. Cheers

Manhattan music is absolutely amazing. I couldn’t recommend them enough my daughter has come leaps and bounds with her violin lessons and throughly enjoys them. Not only are the teacher’s incredible the management are also lovely and always greet you with a lovely smile and are incredibly accomodating. This really isn’t just a music store it is a store for your whole family to come learn music as well as have a coffee look at all the incredible stock and buy you next instrument. Definitely the best decision we made moving our daughter to Manhattan thank you to all the Manhattan Family.

Manhattan Music has provided my 8 year old daughter with a new found love of rhythm in music. She has always been interested in taking up the drums and was hesitant to have a go, but the team here have been welcoming and caring, offering weekly lessons that she looks forward to. She comes out of classes with a smile on her face, picks up her drum sticks and practices on the dashboard on the way home. She has a new confidence that has been exhibited in both music classes at school and brought into her daily life. With an extra beat in her step, she bops along to the new beats she's learnt - her most favourite right now being Thriller by Michael Jackson. Her lessons have also allowed her to find new music and learn about artists she hasn't yet discovered. She's only completed 2 terms but it's been incredibly pleasing to see her finally engaged in an activity that is so very her. The teachers are encouraging and positive, and she feels comfortable to learn and try new things. We are looking forward to seeing what she will accomplish across this year with Manhattan Music.

Our daughter has been taking singing lessons at Manhattan music school and we are very happy with how her confidence has grown.

My best favorite present shared by my family this Christmas 2022 is a Yamaha digital piano at Manhattan music. The grandparents are getting lively with their tunes, I'm having my own creative time and my son 13 years old getting motivated. We discovered a drum backing and metronome Got an super excellent price for my selected piano including stool and piano frame. 4 grand pianos and loads of other variations on musical instruments. Everything explained in easy language - I got to tinkle a bit. Super friendly customer service. My only wish is out of my control. I live too far away to get to their music school, yet. I can testify from many friends and family that Manhattan Music is a wonderful place to learn, shop, work and enjoy music! All of the teachers are high calibre, Gino and the team have developed a beautiful culture of genuine friendships and nurturing young musicians!

I was shopping in the store and I saw a staff member speaking condescendingly towards a parent. Very volatile and rude. I think the staff member is called Gino. It made me feel uncomfortable.

A big thank you to Gino and his amazing team of teachers for fitting in my son for some vocal training on short notice in preparation for an audition. We are a Manhattan family from a couple of years ago. After an absence of a year and a half we were welcomed back like family. Moving my sons music lessons to Manhattan was one of the best decisions ever. Over the years we have explored piano, drums guitar and vocals. Finding our niche in piano and a secondary interest in vocals. The staff are always friendly attentive and incredibly supportive of the students. The rock concerts are the stuff of legend! If you want your kids to not only excel, but develop a rea love and passion for music and performance there is no better music school. Thanks Gino and crew! In the words of my mum, you are “just marvellous”!

My twin girls (5 years old) started piano class a few months ago with an amazing teacher Jack. He is professional teacher and knows how to deal and work with the kids.
My girls love their teacher and their Piano lessons. Every Friday they are looking forward to having the piano class.

Manhattan Music has provided our 7-year old daughter with the most wonderful musical experience that we could have dreamed of. Our Saturday mornings are a blessing and include a brief breakfast out on the way to the Manhattan studies. Our daughter starts her lessons with the violin, followed by piano, both of which she thoroughly enjoys. This term, our daughter opted to take on singing lessons as well, and has been blending them with the piano lessons in the interim. With all of this activity, we must not forget the Manhattan staff, all of which are hard-working, committed to their students, and inspiring in their own rights.
Thank you Manhattan, for a wonderful family experience, one that will hopefully continue for years to come.

Manhattan Music in the words of Tina Turner is ‘Simply The Best’. We have nothing but praise for the teachers and for Gino in the way he runs his operation here. Above all the teaching standards, communication with and dedication from our sons tutor are excellent. We left Manhattan music at the beginning of the year as we tried to free up our Saturdays for other kids activities. We chose to use the school program instead. Within two weeks we were desperate to come back to Manhattan. Gino did everything to welcome us back and importantly looked out for us so we could eventually get our two boys back to the original Saturday morning slot. Since then, our boys have learned so much and are thoroughly enjoying Sam's mentorship and tuition style. We have recommended Manhattan to many other families. If you can get any slot then grab it is my advice and then work with Gino to change it over time if you need to. Believe me you won’t want to go anywhere else. Thanks Gino and team!

We highly recommend Manhattan Music. Our 9yo has been taking drum lessons at Manhattan Music for the past 18 months, and our 7yo began piano lessons this year. My sons drum teacher Austin is both an incredible drummer and an absolutely fantastic educator: enthusiastic, encouraging, patient, and dedicated. We honestly could not recommend him highly enough. Equally, Gino and the staff at Manhattan Music are terrific, and in particular in 2021 really proved their commitment to the students and their business, setting up video lessons in place of face-to-face during lockdowns, allowing some sense of continuity for my son and also encouraging his ingenuity by allowing him to learn on a very unconventional kit (2 biscuit cannisters and a toddler snare drum). We're privileged to have such a wonderful business in our community.

Wonderful experience dealing at Manhattan Music. I bought P125 Piano for my kids and the owner guided me through the different piano, accessories needed and what can be best choice as per kids age. Plus buying locally, I was more satisfied as for any issues I can always go back as it comes with 5 years warranty. I would definitely recommend this shop if you are looking to buy any musical instruments. They seem good for music lessons as well, I will try it soon for my kids.

Dealing with Gino, owner at Manhattan Music was a dream. No sooner than we had asked if he could supply our school Santa Maria College with 2x Yamaha P125 Keyboards, he was on the case, offered us a fantastic deal and made delivery personally to the school in a couple of days.
He was efficient, polite, knowledgeable and just a really lovely guy. We will be dealing with Gino and Manhattan Music going forward. Who wouldn't with that kind of amazing service.
