Visited Mandarin Bistro and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely. I highly recommend trying their dishes – you won't be disappointed!

They also have an excellent selection of wines to complement the flavors. Highly recommend for a satisfying and enjoyable meal!

Beautiful atmosphere with nice music to listen to while enjoying a meal. Not loud so you can still talk and hear what your friends are saying. Meal was lovely and well presented. Staff were wonderful and opened up their business even when it wasn’t their usual business hours.
We will be back and I would highly recommend people to come and enjoy a meal here. I had people with walker and a wheelchair. Place very clean

Absolutely fantastic. Food quality and taste was brilliant, best prawn dish I've had in a long time. Dessert was also delicious. Exceeded all expectations.

Great, personable staff and wonderful atmosphere as well. Awesome to find such a local gem.

Have gone back in winter, the menu has been changed to best suit seasonable availablity and is still as good as last time. Had the barramundi and fried chicken, delicious and can't recommend the focaccia highly enough.
Once again the staff were attentive and incredibly friendly. Can't wait to return!

Most delicious meal I've had out in ages. Standouts were cauliflower croquettes, lamb ribs, strip sirloin, mapo tofu and stir fry veg, as well as the ricotta donuts. Lots of options for vegetarian and GF. Service was brilliant, there were 6 of us and they made sure all dishes were easily shared. Price was super reasonable for the amount of food we ordered. Super friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be back.

This is a nice cosy casual restaurant tucked in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Food is flavoursome and well-presented. We ordered a main each (braised beef short rib, roasted pork belly and lamb ribs) plus an additional main from the blackboard specials to share (tiger prawns). Service from Nick and Bell was attentive and customer friendly. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

We visited as a family to celebrate my son's birthday. And it was a great experience all through. We had booked a table and didn't have to wait even a minute even though the place was full and buzzing. The food lived up to all the expectations. The service was top-notch (though a bit short-staffed for a busy Sat eve). Bell who served us is very warm and professional. Such a treat to have this small, classy place in the neighbourhood.

Really delicious food; flavours are excellent in every dish we have enjoyed in our two visits. The menu is eclectic…. So interesting, well thought-out and varied - something there for everyone to like. Service is most attentive as well and the prices are reasonable, particularly for such beautifully cooked meals.

An absolutely brilliant experience. The staff are exceptional, friendly and clearly adore children. Well priced and ample parking outside. We will be back!

This is our delightful local. The food is always first class, the staff friendly and obliging. They cater well for all dietary needs.

This is a little gem. Really interesting menu that keeps changing (we've been there 4 times now). Great food at reasonable prices. So nice to have a restaurant of this quality in the 'burbs.

Best meal I have had out since pre-covid. The waitress named Bell was so sweet and everyone was so attentive. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, and the price was so reasonable - 5 plates, tea, drinks and dessert only $115 for 2 people. Will absolutely be back!

I feel like there are no similar restaurants in the area, so it's certainly unique. It's a fairly casual environment with great food that aims for a fine dining experience. It's not quite fine dining, but the chef knows what he is doing and probably experiments a bit (which is a good thing). It does lack a little finesse but I'll certainly be back as the price point is right. I hope they keep doing what they do with seasonal menus.
My favourite dish was probably the pork belly but the grilled calamari was a close second (cooked perfectly but the sauce was a bit sweet for my liking).

So lucky to have this place as our new local restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff were beyond helpful & lovely. Would definitely recommend!

This unassuming looking bistro serves great food beyond what one would expect of an eatery tucked away in a quiet suburb. For this meal, we ordered the soft shell crab, grilled squid, chicken skewer, a stir fried veg dish and the ricotta donuts. What a treat for our palates! The food was yummy especially the squid that was soft and juicy and the chicken that was tasty and tender. The dessert was an interesting mix of donut balls, ice cream and Nutella! To top it off, the service staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes on the menu!

Incredibly delicious, modern Asian Australian fusion! Didn't know what to expect but everything was expertly prepared and thoughtfully crafted! We loved it all!

The Food was extremely tasty, from the slow cooked beef to the califlower croquettes. The sides were delicious. The food is class A. Had a great range for all food types. We'll be back
