Maki Sushi

Very rare to find a japanese eatery owned amd and operated by Japanese family. Good food and good price. Very simple and humble place.

Always rare to find authentic Japanese eateries. Amongst the car park and Eltham shops, this is a place where food is the same as what you would find in Japan.

Great prices and pretty good food, although a bit heavy on battered items in Bento Box. Marking it down because of excessive use of non recyclable plastic containers, even when you eat in! They ironically give you a wooden disposable spoon to eat it with though. Get rid of the plastic guys, you are in the green wedge of Melbourne

Amazing! They take great care with all the food. If I had to pick one place to go for Japanese, it would be here just because of the quality and price. Great location in Eltham near all the shops. Amazing sushi, udons, gyoza and so much more. Always taste amazing and fresh every time. Only downfall is that they are closed on Sundays.

Been going for years. Consistently very nice food at reasonable price. Very fresh nigiri etc. Casual venue and small but great for a lazy night out.

Nice authentic Japanese sushi restaurant in Eltham. Had the terryaki Bento Box which also has tempura prawns and a vegetable rosti. Very good. Cash only though. Don't worry there's an ATM literally next to there door.

Lost most of my order. The sashimi and nigiri was the only part of the meal that was served and it had too much wasabi on it. Not worth the trouble. While they did give us a refund (no EFTPOS btw) they can't pay me for my time and the bad experience.

Freshest sushi! Amazing and authenic Japanese style, the best place I've found in Melbourne and as good as it gets outside of Japan. Staff are also extremely polite and welcoming. It's a regular for us.

Some of the best sushi around, their bento boxes are also delicious. The sushi is always fresh, every time I come in I see them cutting up fresh seafood. Also has a nice, warm cozy feel. Highly recommend!
