New Review - I think it's under new management. We like our food now, ordered nachos and burritos, it was great.

Old Review - Not bad for a Suburban Mexican Place. The ones in city are definitely better than this place quantity and quality wise both.

Mad mex is usually my go-to mexican takeout place to chow down on some nice mexican food. However, this one particular visit was shocking. I had used the Mad Mex app to order, and to skip the queue of people ordering. Upon 10 minutes of waiting I had noticed that everyone in line was being served before me, despite me having already ordered and paid.

Another 5 minutes later I decided to line up and see what was quicker, ordering on the app, or lining up. Note, that this was 15 minutes after I had already paid for my order via the app. By the time I had gotten to the front of the line, my name and order number was still not called. Upon being greeted by a staff member I advised them that I had ordered on the app and waiting for my order. They then advised me to wait at the end of the line to collect my order. I politely but frustratingly expressed my frustration, stating that I had already been waiting 20 minutes after ordering and paying on the app, and have watched them serve 15-20 people that ordered AFTER me.

The staff member was confused, and asked me to speak to his supervisor about it. Once speaking to the supervisor, I was advised that they had only just printed off my receipt (20 minutes later). I expressed my disappointment with the service, and did not get an apology or anything. All I got was "it will just be another 2 minutes. "

Mad Mex has delicious food, and a great atmosphere usually. However, this time has really put me off going back for a while. The whole point of a mobile app is to skip the queue and get your order quicker, rather than being ignored. If this is the customer service that Mad Mex outlines as professional and passionate, then I will definitely not be returning.

Staff are the forefront of a company, and if they cannot provide adequate customer service, including supervisors, then the whole store succumbs to complaints and dissatisfied customers.

As a luchador (team member), one of the great place to build up behavioural skills. Managers are super awesome, friendly and helpful in maintaining all work ethics.

First time eating at a Mad Mex which has a similar menu to Salsas.
I found the scrolling video screen menu a little confusing and difficult read as it scrolled to quickly for me to read. The paper menu was much more useful.
My Burrito bowl was prepared quickly with a range of options I'd selected and was fresh, tasty and really hit the spot.

I have gotten Grande melt after a while and wow they really reduced the size by a 1/3rd AND charging $15? Unbelievable it is SO small.
Whats crazy is, it tastes worse than before too.
Thats goodbye Mad Mex for me.

I've been to other mad mex branches, apparently the portion is wayyyy smaller here. Ordered the tacos and paid extra $1 for the pork but the portion is so pathetic, they just gave me a small pinch of meat and vege (like a teaspoon of everything). Plus it's so wet with sauces i cant eat at all.

Good texmex fast food - mexicali mince is an amazing vegetarian meat analogue. And a small mexicali taco is $3 too, cheaper than the water

The whole franchise upped their game now cheese is a base in their nachos <3

Excellent staff, generous serving and quick service. What more could I want. The Scottish young lady serving is professional. I understand it's inflationary times but if the burritos were wee bit bigger for $20 that would be wonderful.

I get lunch here a lot and it’s always delicious, fast, and served with exceptional customer service! I highly recommend this store to friends and co-workers because they do such a great job!

Used to love their food, but one day I Find a fly in the picture, I told the waitress, she looks like” dont bother “it was gross.

Friendly staff, lovely ambience. I like Mexican food alot. The music around made me to feel I am in Mexico. I wanted to visit this place again and again.

Had nachos, naked burrito and kids meal. There was a long queue as expected on Saturday but the service was further hampered due to a delay in restocking certain fillings.
Nothing special about the food, in fact it felt cold and flavour was bland. The portions were very small and kids meal was way smaller compared to others we had.

I asked regular size of naked burrito and Indian guy keep say no rice no rice! We do not have a rice!
And there is rice i can see He tried to sell something that had no rice only vegetables and sauces So I asked the cashier for rice and got it

The server here were so uninterested while serving me that I’m surprised that my order came out right. The server was half-heartedly handling quesadillas.
But despite how unappetising my nachos looked, it was surprisingly good. My quesadilla was okayish, as well. And it was just the one server that had the enthusiasm of a snail. The other people there seemed to be positive.
