Have been a long term customer of this store, however last week I walked in to purchase the Suunto 9.some young ladies came to assist me.then I was referred to the older gentleman who wasn't particularly helpful.he wanted to sell me the display model that they had.for the same price.
Apparently this model was not in stock, and that is where the customer service or lack of.ended.
He couldn't be bothered to help find me the Suunto 9 or something equivalent.
That's ok. I purchased the Garmin Fenix 9 pro elsewhere where the staff were rather helpful.

Went in and was after a puffer vest, didn’t have my size available in-store, but employee (i can’t remember her name) called every Vic store that was showing stock to her the item transferred to Narre Warren (my closest store), as it also wasn’t available online!

There are 2 stores at Fountain Gate with a small store inside Westfield. I needed the larger store and am pleased it's on the outside with easy parking.

Sensational, large store with a huge range of stock and really helpful, knowledgeable staff. Good prices are a bonus. And you can park right outside the store.

One of my favorites stores in Casey area. They have good prices and easy to exchange the products if it is needed. I enjoy going there.

I visited this place a couple of times. Once to purchase a jacket and another time to exchange a jacket that I bought online. Both the times the transactions were smooth. Buying new a jacket is an easier one obviously, but the saleswoman spent some time to explain various types of downs, which range is a good choice for the intended use and pricing etc. But also the exchange was seamless. I went to the store taking the jacket that I received from online purchase which too big for me. The salesman immediately showed me the right size that should fit me and also showed a couple of other comparable options if I might change my choice. I stuck to the same one with a smaller size and the exchange took less than 2 minutes. Very courteous and friendly staff. Store has many options and most of the sizes, so if you are looking for down jackets or sort of stuff, you can't go wrong with this place.

Friendly staff and s good selection of clothes at prices which are to be expected for this type of clothing.

The jackets are a good quality and do their job of keeping you nice and warm in cooler climates.

Huge range of jackets, jumpers all thermal and camping needs. The staff were absolutely fantastic so helpful and were not the slightest bit fussed that it was past 5pm on Saturday and I was still making my mind up

James was super helpful and very knowledgable. We bought a camping tent and a mattress from Macpac after looking at a couple other places. Good prices. Happy with the service provided.

Always impressed with the customer service, prices and product range when I come here, it’s so much of an improvement over the original Rays Outdoors store even though that place was great too. Made a visit today looking for a travel backpack and was helped by a lady who really knew her stuff despite the relatively unknown brand I was enquiring about. Answered every question I had and even provided more insight which was super helpful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, will always come here for my outdoor needs!

Great range of camping and outdoor gear. Friendly and helpful staff on hand to assist you with your purchase or just with good knowledgeable advice. Easy parking. Store was clean and easy to maneuver with most items grouped in commodities with a good selection to choose from.

I returned a cooler for a Waeco fridge instead, James at Narre Warren was very helpful with all my questions.

Lovely large selection of goods, best be a member to get the best deals however. Great staff; willing to approach you first if you need a hand.

Like most of these businesses they are huge warehouses with lots of stock but no staff to help you.

I recently purchased a product from Rays. A week later i found the following product cheaper by $120. I rang Rays at Fountain Gate and advised of the lower cost elsewhere. I spoke to a few different people on the sales team especially Michael and Scott who were all helpful. Both Michael and Scott were helpful in applying the additional discount which was advertised cheaper at a competitor store. The staff are always helpful and I will continue to purchase goods for most of my camping needs at Rays Fountain Gate.

Has most of the outdoor things u will need like clothing, tents, gas burners, machetes. The staff isn't helpful though they wont ask you if u need help which is disappointing.

We went in to look at snow pants and ask about my membership card which I thought was meant to be sent out to me but the lady I spoke to told me I just needed to verify who I am and they give me a card.
Receiving my card was quick and simple.
The workers were nice and we're happy to help with everything we needed.

Rays Outdoors Fountain Gate is large, everything seems to have its own section, easy to navigate.

I am especially happy with the service.

Not a bad camping store chain. Some crossover in stock lines with BCF who are owned by the same company (Super Retail Group). Real value to be found at these chains is when products are discounted. They also have a club membership for rewards points. Their in house products like Wanderer are fair quality and good value for money when on special.
