Macpac Adventure Hub Brighton reviews
27Great experience today at the Macpac Adventure Hub Brighton. I walked in the store knowing what I wanted, was greeted by cheery staff at the counter, they guided me to the exact section and shelf, provided their recommendations and left me to go and peruse. Got what I wanted, tested it out, paid for it and all done and dusted. The staff were knowledgeable on their products and attentive to what I was looking for, provided me with enough recommendations, left me to do my thing. Plenty of on-site parking as well, and just off the main highway. My go to store for macpac gear.
Everyone was super knowledgeable about the products and were able to give me honest reviews about what would work best for me
Large store with a massive range of equipment.
Down jackets, merino wool range, tents, shoes and hiking gear. Knowledgeable staff that was more then will to step in and help.
Recommend heading in on a day when you know there is a sale, which is quite regular.
Great gear and can be expensive. But you are paying for quality
Very well laid out camping store with all you would ever need to get away into the wild!
Staff who allow you silently browse while also being attentive if you are finding something in particular.
Lots of good gear, but short staffed when I was there so I had to bail while they worked through the citizens that arrived before me.
Informative and Friendly
Me and my son was preparing for our first ever self setup campaign trip and got heaps of advise from Sydney.
Sydney tailored according to our needs to recommend the right fit equipments that we need and also that we didn't know we need (which ended up really helpful)
Just picked up an order I made online. The items were 20% cheaper instore than my member price. Membership doesn't feel special anymore.
Friendly helpful staff that didn't try to oversell their products even gave me suggestions on where to visit and camp around Melbourne and surrounds
Prices are a bit steep but nice people, lots of cool stuff and all around a fun place to shop.
Location was bustling, and people were being helped by friendly staff on the weekend. I didn't see my size in a couple of the things I had seen online. It wasn't a Mecca, or amazing. It was fine.
Great staff and awesome equipment for a chain brand. They have some good discounts when on sale
The store looks nice, and the gear is not bad, but the staff are not nice and not welcoming. I had a very unpleasant experience with arrogant management. Not a nice shopping experience at all.
Popped in for winter clothes during the summer sale. Makes sense hey. Thankfully they had what we needed and at discounted prices so walked away happy. The early morning visit meant the places was quiet and the service was spot on. We were looked after like royalty
I was in store for a while. No greeting from the staff and no assistance. When i finally approached a staff member he was very unfriendly, kept breaking some boxes and didn’t even look at me. Very unusual. I don’t think i’ll be back in a hurry
I had a mishap with placing an order to the wrong address and subsequently received many confusing emails but Reece from Customer Service was the greatest of helps- and on a weekend too!
Great selection of camping and adventure equipment.
Got good service from staff members even when ended up asking some tricky questions.
If you want to experience outstanding customer service, go and see Joseph and Brody at Macpac Brighton!
My husband found a macpac jacket that he really liked online but there was none in stock, so he popped down to the Brighton store to see if they had any. And of course, there was none in the colour he was after.
My husband was offered to try on various sizes of the jacket to ensure that he gets the right size. Once, they worked out the correct sizing, they tracked to down the jacket my husband wanted in the colour and size that he was after at another store. Brody then went out of his way to pick up the jacket from that store, so that my husband doesn't have to travel and could just pick it up from the Brighton store.
It doesn't get better than that!
Thank you again for the jacket Joseph and Brody!
Quite a good range of products, mostly not very cheap, but they usually have sale items, which bring them back to more realistic prices. Most of the staff are friendly, but one man was quite rude and unhelpful.
Couldn’t be more pumped for the weekend ahead, cheers for getting my gear sorted guys! The whole crew are great a big thanks especially to Sophie, you’re a gem, really appreciate the service.
Amazing service and very helpful staff went above and beyond to make your shopping experience very good, they also have great quality shoes jackets ect. Love coming to this place and would highly recommend to new campers, experienced campers, skiers and just everyday thermals.
