One of my top 5 restaurants in the Inner West. Whether it is a special occasion, group get together or intimate date this is just a great place to go. The food is delicious, every single time. The staff are super friendly, and the vibe is just perfect. Love love love it!

Overall our takeaway dinner was ok, although the prices are quite steep for the quantity. Service was very friendly and efficient.
- braised beef bao: ok, beef was nice, bao could be fluffier
- spicy duck spring rolls: nice, didn't find them spicy (which is not a prob)
- KFC ribs: the marinade was nice, although a really small quantity for the price I thought
- sticky lamb ribs and rice: lamb was dry and firmer than I like, although the marinade was good
- Korean beef cheeks: good, beef was soft and sauce was nice
- brussels sprouts: good although salty
- roti and peanut sauce: I like my roti light and fluffy and these were quite thick
- tiramisu: not quite what I expected, without the typical layers of mousse and espresso within. Couldn’t quite taste the yuzu or sake. Admirable attempt though!

Yet another great Saturday Luxsmith dinner experience!
Right from the meet-and-greet, it works - staff are friendly and welcoming. No delays when we wanted to order - eye contact and instant attention. Wine and water glasses never went unfilled. Table debris vanished, fresh plates appeared - all quietly and unobtrusively - impressive.

Our entree choices of cauliflower pakora and amazingly crisp mushroom, pea and ginger dumplings worked beautifully - warming us up for the big guns - Korean Beef Cheeks and Sticky Lamb Ribs (it was chilly outside and yes, they deserve capitals!) - with a shared Tiramiso to follow.

Great food and great ambience. The sitting felt a little rushed as the bookings are for 90 minutes at a time (COVID) and our waitress kept reminding us of this fact. I appreciate the sitting time restrictions, but it did take away from our overall experience slightly.
Highly recommend the White Chocolate and Pandan Cheesecake.

Food was sublime. Indulged in the 'feed me' menu and every item was delish. Particular shout out to the kingfish sashimi and Kerala fish curry. Excellent wine list & terrific service seals the deal.

Eating at Luxsmith was one of the most memorable food experiences that I (and the rest of my group) have had for a long time. The food was superb, the wait staff were very friendly and attentive throughout the whole evening.
We found the service, venue and food highly professional and contemporary without being pretentious (which we often find in modern restaurants nowadays)
We had the tasting plates menu which we found incredibly good value and superb flavoursome food.
We will be visiting again

Dinner was 5 stars. The restaurant felt very cosy and decor tasteful. We have the set menu, chefs choice. It was a great opportunity to try the many options on the menu. Every dish was delicious. We have a good variety from Vegetarian to meat and fish. Definitely recommend and we will be back for more.

We enjoyed the banquet which was absolutely delicious. This is a hidden gem in the West which will not disappoint. Staff and atmosphere were great too and accommodated changes to the banquet. We will be back!

NOT FODMAP FRIENDLY. Very disappointed. I made a note of dietary requirements for two of my party when booking and heard nothing back so I was so looking forward to trying out the food here as the menu looks absolutely delicious; to the point that I wanted to try almost everything. I was thinking if this goes well it could be our regular meeting place.

I was impressed with the atmosphere when I walked in and was shown to our table. Our waitress was welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, when our waitress came to take our food order and I asked if she could point out meals that I could have she stated that I could have the edamame; cucumber salad or the roti. I questioned her and pointed out that I had made a note of my dietary needs at the time of booking. She checked with the kitchen and came back to confirm that all I could have was those three items. Having travelled an hour to catch up with friends for dinner, I was more than shocked and disappointed that I was going to miss out on a nice dinner. I left the table to speak personally with the chef or kitchen staff to see if there was a work around. I simply cannot tolerate garlic. Apparently it was in everything. I wouldn't go as far as to say that the chef was rude but he was resistant and unhelpful. My evening was only saved by the male waiter and our lovely waitress for the night. Thank goodness for dessert. I can highly recommend the White Chocolate and Pandan Cheesecake.

I contrast this to a restaurant that I went to 3 weeks prior and another one 6 weeks earlier to that and I can only say that the treatment was like chalk and cheese. For a restaurant of this calibre and price (it is not cheap at $70 per head without drinks) I would think that they could accommodate most mainstream dietary intolerances. I consider myself to be quite a foodie and have been living with my issue for 10 years now. I eat a very healthy and well balanced diet and am able to work my way around most menus. It is such a shame to write a review like this.

Have been meaning to try out this restaurant for ages.finally got there and WOW.the food was exceptional, the service amazing. I cannot fault anything and I will definitely be going back.soft shell crab bao for the win!

Beautiful food, wonderful atmosphere and really lovely wait staff - thank you for being so attentive to my food allergies. Because of you I now know why I react badly in other less concerned/professional eateries - it's all in the cooking process. As a result I enjoyed my entire meal and had absolutely no reaction! Thank you all - one happy (and not digestively uncomfortable) diner: D

Delicious food, and very nice ambience!

Not a lot of variations of mains, but if you're sharing lots of smaller dishes in a group then this could definitely be a regular!

Be aware that the sparkling water offered is $5 a glass. It was an unexpected high cost for me, considering mains are already above-average. I was disappointed.

I’ve recommended Luxsmith to everyday I know, even to fb friends interstate visiting for the weekend.
It’s fabulous, staff are supper friendly and welcoming and the food is spot on, you can’t fault it.
The last time I visited was for The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival - West side crawl!

Wish it was closer to home so i can call it my local.

We went to Luxsmith on a recommendation from a friend who raved about it. Well we certainly weren't disappointed. Food was simply amazing. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. Great little restaurant. Couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

The food at Luxsmith is amazing, 10/10. Service is outstanding and the drinks menu is very diverse. I recommend trying the elderflower spritz and the Seddon sea monster. Both cocktails were very delicious
If you're just looking for a place to chill out and have a few drinks, then the Luxsmith bar is the perfect spot in Seddon to do so. Great atmosphere and music to accompany whatever your choice of drink may be.

Refreshingly good Asian fusion restaurant. One of their secrets must be the high quality ingredients since every element tasted great on it's own as well as together.

Always enjoy dining at Luxsmith and especially enjoyed the Beef Cheeks on this occasion along with the Bao’s and Chicken Ribs.

Love this place the food is always fantastic! Loved every dish I've tried they also have great wine, cocktails and other drinks options as well. Staff are friendly, helpful and very attentive. Highly recommend giving it a try, I will defiantly be back.
