REVIEW:
3/5 is a good rating from me! It just means I had an average experience; I walked out satisfied but it was not mind blowing.

Thai food has very distinct flavour and for me, it should incorporate at least 2 of the 4 components: Spicy/Sweet/Sour/Savoury. Although Luxsmith were great at pulling out the coconut flavour in the entree dishes, I felt like it was lacking that extra (typically sour notes or more spice) that would make it more Thai to me.
Kingfish sashimi was our favourite entree though! Very refreshing.

Splitting 3 entrees was an EFFORT between two, so my friend was happy to finish more of the mains so that I had room for dessert. The twice cooked pork belly was juicy, with a saltiness they could've held back a touch on. I did appreciate the spiciness though!
I found the rice was a little bit too dry for my liking.

Dessert was flawless. I appreciated the array of fresh sweet strawberries which added a refreshing bite to every panna cotta spoonful. The sesame crumble was addictive for the nutty flavour and texture crunch as well. I would highly recommend this to leave you feeling lighter after your meal!

Service was friendly, and the outfit is very modern. They maximise the amount of natural light coming through, which keeps the interior welcoming and casual.

The 3 stars overall are due to the fact that they are very kid unfriendly. Granted this may not be a family friendly place to start with but that doesn't mean you be rude to a heavily pregnant lady when she asks for directions to wash room or refuse to provide a high chair for a toddler. Made a mistake going there with fam. Otherwise good.

I went for a dinner alone and was approached by a lovely gentleman. I requested to sit outside and was given menu but was neglected for almost 10 mins. I ended up requesting to be seated inside, take note it was not busy I think 20 ppl approximately on a Tuesday night.

I was assisted by a lady and I asked if there’s an option to add meat on a Pad Thai she said no but was told a flat noodles has a Duck meat on it but I don’t eat Duck I said she said “there you go”.

I brushed it off and ordered a Prawn and chicken dumpling which is amazing and the sauce is immaculate.

The place looks like a fine dining but very limited option for Ala cart menu. The price is alright for a fine dining but the service is very basic. Some reviews says it’s expensive but if the customer service is great it’s worth the price I guess.

Overall, the food I ordered is great but customer service needs to improve given it’s a fine dining. Paid and left.

Abundant amount of delicious food (set menu) with great variety ans taste. Service and vibe were on point. Will go again.

Highly recommend you book and go into the wine bar for pre-dinner drinks and atmosphere. Advice is to let them know you have a booking so if it becomes available earlier they'll invite you in and you just take your glass of your fav drop with you.

Service is as awesome as the food and atmosphere!

I booked one of the private dining rooms upstairs for my 30th birthday. From start to finish, the process of booking with Luxsmith was so smooth and easy, and Courtney was really lovely to correspond with!

The small dining room was really generously sized and comfortably fit 18 people. We had a really lovely hostess who allowed me to choose the music as we were the only booking that night, and the food was really delicious. We were also given really generous portions of alternative dishes for the people with dietary requirements!

All of my friends gushed about how nice the venue, food and night was, and I was sooo happy with how everything went. I would definitely consider booking this venue again.

Visited Luxsmith for the first time on a very busy Saturday night. Very warmly greeted by staff and the fantastic service continued throughout our sitting. We knew we had our table for 90 minutes but not once did we feel rushed or pressured to hurry up. The lovely lady looking after our table was even so considerate enough to check in with us and ask if we wanted a break for our next course or if we’re happy for food to continue quickly. Its not often you are asked that by staff in restaurants so we appreciated the chance for an extra break to let our entrees settle. The food was so tasty and full of so much flavour. Highlights were the sashimi, calamari, duck noodles and the steak. Thank you for the lovely experience at your restaurant - will definitely be back for more.

Easy. Order the set menu and not be disappointed with quality or quantity. Top marks for both.

Sadly these people took $100 out of our account in error during the booking process. They did not let me know until I found it and still tried to change us the full amount even when I called them the day before to make sure they didn’t. The food was great but be careful.

Lovely food, lovely ambience, however I feel it was very overpriced for the portion. Could have been more generous with the servings served.

Fabulous little place in the heart of Seddon. Delicious innovative food. The duck was exceptional and highly recommended. The wait staff polite and attentive.

Always sensational food to be had here. It's our go to local. Hard to beat for atmosphere and menu in Seddon.
