Just a beautiful shop! The staff are super knowledgeable and helpful and there's a huge variety of tea. Must visit for tea lovers, especially Japanese.

The owner was very knowledgeable and was willing to explain the different teas. Very organized shop. I love it. Will definitely come back again.

They have a lot of tea selections, and the staff is accommodating in understanding your requirement. They suggest more than one option, and you can select the right one based on your need & budget.

The best - I live in Darwin and am unable to pass through Melbourne as I used to - so now online orders - no problems at all - my favourite at present is a 50: 50 blend of Apple Tea 5261 and Earl Grey 5201 or 5203. I love Peach - have 5215 to try - Lupicia Tea is
one of the highlights of my day:) :)

Best tea shop in the city as far as I'm concerned (particularly if you're looking for Japanese tea). T2 doesn't even hold a candle to it. Fantastic selection, reasonable prices, lovely helpful staff. Highly recommended.

What a huge selection and even during lockdown you can get fresh loose leaf teas. Excellent service for tea lovers.

Amazing selection of teas and tea accessories. The quality and location of origin of each tea are described, with different quantities of loose leaf available. Each tea can be seen in person and tested for aroma. Staff were also friendly and happy to describe teas when requested.

We bought 1800 dollars tea from this shop, and this is 9 boxes and one bag. We just friendly asked the owner lady can we use your trolly to move everything to the QV car park which is just under this shop. This owner lady became very upset and said I’m not happy with that! So we said yeah we are fine thank you then we intended to bring everything to the counter to pay. Suddenly that lady shouted at us by saying don’t touch it! You didn’t pay for it!

This tea shop service and attitude are the absolutely the worst one in melbourne I have never seen before. Will not be there anymore and this is 100% unrecommended.

The tea of this shop is really good, variety of choose.

But the attitude of that old lady is really bad. Avoid that old lady.

I went to buy some small bags of tea from this shop and I was amazed by the variety and choices of the tea. Akana the Japanese girl was the best how the way she talk and explain to the costumers just make you want to buy everything. So end up with 4 choices of tea. Probably will come back here again.

Been buying my teas from Lupicia for a very long time. Its true what they said "You get what you pay for". Just top quality teas and non of the rubbish stuff that other shop sells (Im looking at you T2). A huge variety of teas, especially Japanese teas. Even their teapots and teacups quality is top notch.

Best tea place in Melbourne. Their teas are so delicious. Definitely recommend for tea fanatics to visit by. I’m a big fan of their flavoured green and black teas. Super yummy.

I started drinking Lupicia tea when I lived in Japan, and I'm glad that it is available in Melbourne. Beautiful tea. However, I have always found the service at Lupicia Melbourne very cold, whether I speak English or Japanese, and I leave feeling perplexed - such a strange atmosphere. Pre-Covid, I travelled back to Japan frequently so I would avoid the Melbourne store and just do my Lupicia shopping in Japan. Obviously that's impossible for the time being and it's back to the Melbourne store for my tea fix. Staff are very good at enforcing customer limits and asking customers to use hand sanitiser when they enter, but the lack of warmth remains. Strange.

I love this tea store! If you are a tea lover, especially of fine grade Japanese teas, this is the store for you. I particularly love the Gyokuro Katsura - so sweet and delicate. It is always a pleasure visiting the store, but now, while Melbourne is in lockdown, I get the same amazing service when ordering online. The teas are well-packaged so they aren’t damaged and arrive at your door in the same condition as you get from the shop.

The quality and variety of teas here are second to none. This is my one go-to place for tea in Melbourne.
