Unfortunately had a really disappointing meal here. The 'Patatas Bravas' were the weirdest, grossest interpretation I've ever seen; they were like mini jacket potatoes with jar salsa on top. The lamb was watery, oily and tasted like it was cooked days prior. The ceviche was bland and under-seasoned. The floor staff were either too attentive or nowhere to be found despite it being a quiet night. I've given a bonus star because the wine was great and well priced.

I’ve always liked this place for their great food and last night went back with some friends. There was a tacky “retro night” theme with nightclub-loud 70/80’s club songs, and an overbearing waiter who cleared our plates before we finished and poured water all over the table when our glasses were continuously refilled. We felt harassed and rushed and couldn’t hear each other in the loud and cramped space. Food was nice but ambience was awful and we were glad to leave.

The food here is divine! The atmosphere is sensational. The staff are awesome.

They even accommodate us with our baby in the pram.

What an amazing place. Lovely atmosphere, and the food was simply DIVINE. We had Cazuela with Plantain and so reminded me of my home Colombia.
The chef and staff were absolutely so good, cocktails, music, a beautiful night out. Will be back again for more Cartagena cocktails!

Disappointed to see staff having a go at the young workers at the ice cream shop 2 doors down for something completely out of their control such as a line going across the front of the store. As well as this speaking to patrons of the gelato store with utter disrespect. Considering it’s been such a hard time for everyone a little bit of kindness and understanding would go a long way.

My wife and I had an amazing night. The food was exceptional, with every dish being considered and memorable.
I’d highly recommend the restaurant to others. The staff were friendly and it has a great atmosphere.

It's a wonderful combination of things = Life, Food and Wine. And Lulo is a family favourite for romance, group joviality and friendly catchups. Over several years, we have had over 100 dishes, none bad, all good and most exquisite. Wines that take us away from the usual stuff, food that expands our experience and an experience that we repeat and repeat and repeat.

Disgusting! The only the word that comes to mind.
We had ordered charcuterie, pork product and was given a “substitute” of a beef item and told it was comparable, without asking if that was ok. Waited 45 minutes for empanadas which never arrived and to their justification told us that the kitchen was closed at 5pm however their opening hours stated 3.30pm.
The attitude from their waitstaff was appalling and when it came to apologising, had a massive smile on their face without any apology.
Waitstaff need to look at their dress code, need to tie their long hair back and require extensive menu training both food and wine.
Trying to support local but will reconsider in the future.
Also need to mention that The staff did not check our vaccination certificates, we had our baby with us and it is very concerning that unvaccinated people could be dinning.

Our favourite place on Glenferrie Rd, Lulo is the perfect spot for date night. Delicious food, amazing cocktails and incredible staff. Special shout out to Miles for always taking care of us! See you all again soon - Tyler & Eve

The food was delicious, would recommend the char grilled octopus and slow cooked lamb. The desserts are delicious too.can't really go wrong.

Friendly staff, great venue and vibe. Oysters, empanadas, mushroom croquettes are an absolute must. Well done to the Lulo team for their first evening service out of lockdown!

Overall nice dishes some very good others okay. Service little slow and prices quite high for dishes.
