Delicious food, great cocktails. Chef specials are always worth trying. My fave is the mushroom croquettes and the crispy skin pork. I have been coming for years regularly.

Cute little tapas place along Glenferrie in Hawthorn. Great selection of food. The green tomatoes and Oysters was a pleasant surprise. Empanadas was delicious although was a bit over fried. Christmas special cheesecake with fried cheese at the end unfortunately did not taste like a cheesecake and was underwhelming, overpriced and fried balls were overcooked. Apart from that everything else was good. Thank you to the friendly waitress who served us. Must try! + the cocktails we had pineapple one

Cozy, comfortable and sophisticated little restaurant with great flavours of South America. Picant flavour without being overwhelming. We had the Chef's course which gave us a great variety of food for a good price. The cured trout was an absolute highlight. Staff were super helpful.

The food, amazing! We were the first group to arrive around 6pm, to celebrate a special family occasion. We ordered full loaf of sourdough, it was excellent and delicious. The crust was crumbly and, we could eat that for the night. The pork belly, char grillee broccoli and the chicken, cooked to excellence.
The churos and lemon tart, just nice to wrapped up the night.

The service by the ladies was great, courteous and polite. So, thank you!

But, the guy (Asian, looking) behind the bar was completely the opposite, we had the feeling of being looked down when we entered the restaurant. He could be inexperience, but still, as front liners, being polite is key number one and he had no basic. He was overkilled with the explanation of " still water", made us feel " this bunch " do not know what it is all about and might just as well have tap water!
After that, he did not say a word when serving and clearing the table. Not a word spoken, even we thanked him for all he did.

Exceptional service provided by bartenders and wait staff, and excellent food with inventive vegan and vegetarian options

Delicious food. Friendly staff. There was a slight glitch when our orders were placed electronically but staff were quick to make amends by offering a complimentary entree and by speeding up the delivery of meals. Very impressed with their service and food. We will be back very soon

We were looking forward to a night of amazing food, service & ambience going by previous reviews but unfortunately this was not to be. The service was incredibly bad…from taking our orders to waiting for over an hour for our dinner to arrive. A portion of the chicken was raw & when bringing it to the managers attention was told we were in a rush & that’s why it happened blaming it also on a new server. Several people at our table had dietary issues & even though we brought it to the attention of the server they still gave us food that we had to send back. The food we did get was nice but we were disappointed about the lack of care and attention from staff.

Trendy tapas bar in Hawthorn ~ we had the jug of sangria which tasted like chilled mulled wine. The food was fresh, tasty and flavourful

Had a lovely dinner here with old work friends. The staff were very friendly, attentive and professional. The food and wine were just delicious.really interesting flavours - the chicken empanadas were out of this world.thanks Lulo I will be back!

An intimate and high quality restaurant. Every single item on their menu (and we sampled a large portion of it) was exquisite, and I would safely say it is one of the best places to go for a night out in Hawthorn.

The price tag is on the higher end, but that is reflected in the quality of the food.

Our waitress was an English girl who had an ease of charm that was infectious. One of the best service experiences I've had this year.

Our favourite home away from home, where we are treated like family, and every visit is as special as the last. Amazing food, staff, service and atmosphere.
The Wagyu Picanha is a must, the lamb gets ordered everytime, Potatas Bravas are the best I’ve had, and the ganache will have you licking the plate!

Great little place in a cool location. Fantastic for a date night meal and then a movie at Lido (just 5 mins walk away).
We've had the degustation menu a few times and never disappoints. Lots of variety and some great fresh flavours.
Wine selection is also good (try the albarino!) and great cocktails.

From the staff to the drinks to the food, the whole experience was magical. Bring your friends and guaranteed you will have the best night.

Sarah was an absolute babe! This restaurant was gorgeous, and the wagyu tataki I highly recommend for a spicy lil’ appetiser. A very sexy and feminine venue, perfect for a first date (even though I was with the gals). Please, take your potential wife here, and foot the bill. It’s not necessary but certainly impressive and consolidates the promise of more. Amen. Will be back!

Great food, drinks and desserts- not to mention the groovy low-light atmosphere!

A bit on the pricier side, but WELL worth it if you want to treat yourself or have a special occasion.

Delicious food, perfect portions (we ordered the Chef's Degustation), excellent service.

Nice restaurant in Hawthorn. Popular with the locals for sure and a large drinks menu with an extensive wine list.

Food serves are tapas so don't expect massive serving sizes. The cocktails were good and came out quickly. Service from the staff was warm & friendly. Pricing was to be expected for Hawthorn.

What stops me from giving a 5 star is a number of the food items on the menu were out of stock on a Saturday evening. Understandably things go out of stock, however my recommendation would be to let your diners know what is out of stock before we get our hopes up of eating certain dishes.

Amazing hospitality from the bartender Matt! Great food, wine and their Sangria bianco. Can’t ask for more for a Friday night out.

Unfortunately, I found Lulo very disappointing. The staff were lovely, but the food simply didn't match up. Everything was chronically under seasoned and bland. The tapioca chips were incredibly greasy and the dip with the empanada literally tasted like coriander and water mixed together. For a while we though it was just us, but we heard the table next to us make the same remarks. For > $100 for 2 people, very poor.
