Lucky 13 Garage reviews
47Discriminating against healthy unvaccinated people. If vaccines work then why are the unvaccinated a threat to the vaccinated? The Government letting venues decide so they can take the legal liability as well. Wake up!
First time at Lucky 13 Garage, didn't know what to expect but was blown away by the atmosphere and had a great time dancing to Totally 80's.
This was my first time checking out this local venue and it didn't disappoint. With it's auto/motorbike themed interior, quirky bar and oak dance floor it certainly something different. You are greeted at the door and the atmosphere us warm and friendly. They also have an impressive food menu at reasonable prices. Will be attending again for an upcoming comedy night and other music gigs especially 80's ones!
Terrible place, crazy owner tried to take baseball hat from my head yelling something about cameras in the roof. Wouldn't recommend ever going there
Nice venue, bar staff are wonderful. Unfortunately the woman manager is a power tripper. Ruined our night. Will never be back and I advise everyone to avoid this place. Go elsewhere.
The bands they feature play with no cover charge at other local venues. Owners can’t seem to crack a smile for the patrons who keep them in business. Rude to their staff also. Crowded, small dance space. They could have cheaper priced drinks to make the venue worth the entry fee! Not impressed
I really enjoyed this place but when you go early to get a table you do not expect to pay more at the door $25.00 for arriving early as we are going to drink more anyway. Grab for cash, bad look. It use to be a standard $20.00 no matter when u came and left. Dam Shame as it's happening everywhere these days.
Bands good manager band me because of my last review. So everyone go to other venues around and you can hear same bands but no door change.
This was my first time. The 80s night great band, but sadly lead singer had to stop singing as he wasn't well. The rest of the band where good. Staff and patrons where all having fun. I will definitely go there again.
Great little place, live band here was quite good with their 80's set list. Drinks were reasonably priced, staff were great as well. If there is a big crowd, it can get a little tight on the dance floor: P
Had a great night here with a group, excellent sounds. Dance floor can get tight and they didn't take cards over the bar, cash only. Don't know if this is still the case. Will be back.
So we go there to meet my friend and 8 others for his birthday and I have with me my wife and her daughter when the doorman asks for Id from my daughter in-law who is 25 years old.
We say she is a Russian student here studying at Melb uni and she has a scan of her passport on her phone. This Einstein reply’s after looking at it is how do I know it’s real. We say well we have a copy of her visa from immigration that has her birthdate on it and Einstein says nope not even going to look at it. Einstein says he’s the manager.
His wife comes out and looks at it and suggests that they take a copy of it and Hold onto it. That solves the problem if the liquor licensing board was to come and ask questions about this 25 year old girl.
Einstein refuses because he’s set his position and marked his authority and proven that he is a truely small stupid man. I feel sorry for Einstein’s wife.poor women!
Einstein suggests we go all the way back to Rowville to get the original passport and return with it.
I’m sure that if we had done this Einstein would have said how do I know the passport is real.
Thank you Einstein for showing this young lady her first experience of Melbourne’s nightlife.
Thank you for making the other young lady who driven us to your venue with her 4 year old daughter in the back of the car and who had dropped us off for our friends birthday. Thank you for making her have to turn around and come back to pick us up.
And thank you for not letting four of my friends birthday party guests attend.
You sir are a complete moron!
A great Venue for live music. Many venues have closed, so its good to see some places still supporting the scene.
This is a great night out for the over 40's. Like it on facebook and keep up to date with the latest gig's
Like having all your freinds around for a party in your own garage! Good fun. Cover charge for cover bands is the only negative.
Quite a stuffy place. $25 just to enter and no proper seating. My husband and myself paid $50 for entry and left within 15mins as we did not feel comfortable with place, vibe or entertainment. But I'm glad we checked it out. Definitely not worth free entry too.
If you love live music, this is the place to be. Great staff, great bands and friendly punters.
Awesome venue. Spacious. Good size smokers area with fresh air but there is heating for chilly nights. Staff friendly even though busy. Great set up all round. Had an awesome night seeing Maskara and Thunderstruck.
LOVE this place! Always a great friendly crowd who are out to have fun. So many great tribute & covers bands play here. Had a BLAST tonight with Captain Spalding.it's been over 20 years since I'd seen them. They've STILL got it! Had a brilliant night, and everybody there was up on the dance floor for most of the night
