Mostly because of the owner, no welcome, no smile, just standoffish and miserable. Shame as without the likes of us the business would be closed

I'm going out on a bit of a limb here. It looks like a great layout internally, but with so many nooks and crannies and with a lot of stairs, it can be actually dangerous if your sober, let alone if you've had a few.

Best all round live music venue! Great atmosphere and music line up! Can’t wait to return next time I’m in Melbourne.

A great night out! 'Escape Goats' and 'Standing room only' were the bands. Fantastic!

Show advertised for 7.30 sign on door says open at 8.00. A large group of unhappy customers standing outside in the cold and wind having arrived on time. Not happy

Terrible rude, slamming their hands down on the table, (screaming, im the boss) will never be returning again! Absolutely disgusting

If you love cover bands because you have been listening to the same music for the past 40 years, this is the place for you. A true upper middle bogan lifeboat for the same old same old.

Great venue to enjoy live music. Great atmosphere & staff. Everytime my wife & myself go to a gig @ Lucky 13 we have an absolute ball.

Keep your eyes on your drink.
5 stars for the band, 5 star for the Atmosphere, but 2 stars for owner/management.
Have been to Garage 13 many times, Drinks are $13 for a bottle of JD and coke. The owner and staff think that by taking away 'empty' glasses and bottles, the public would buy more drinks, so they 'constantly', and 'annoyingly' scour the room removing bottles and glasses.
Well, my JD and coke was 1/3 full, and behind me on a table, while watching a band.disappeared. When I asked management, why they picked it up, they said " we are not responsible for watching your drinks", when its them who removed it.
Was planning to have 4 more drinks, but after that, decided on non. And you wonder why business's go out of business.
Not fair, Not logical, annoying and disappointing. Will be looking at alternative venues.

Always an excellent vibe. Great place to unleash the Kraken on the dance floor and indulge in your particular musical taste.

Went to see INXS tribute band. They were good. Lots of people there $30 per head.
Drinks are expensive.

Great bar set up in an old car mechanics workshop Bit of old school deco plenty of good area to veiw bands Food can be ordered usual pizza burgers well priced

Our frst night here we absolutely loved it. Bar staff are friendly and engaging. Venue is well set up, and the best part for me was this couch - like being at home and at a concert all in one!?
Could do with some tap beer, but beggars can't be choosers, so we persevere

Band was really good, bar service great, and Robert was real gentleman.helped getting me a cab home

During this pandemic many live music venues are happy to give refunds if you've paid for an event but then due to unforeseen circumstances, can't attend. Not this place, won't be going back.

Mobility equipped to get in the venue. Want to go to the toilet while you're there, and wheelchair bound? Forget about it! Only problem I have had with this venue! Otherwise, can't fault the people or the venue!

Absolute NO CONSIDERATION for the neighbours around the area. Poor thing to all the elderly trying to sleep at night. And here there is music up to 1am.
