Lu Yang Dumpling House reviews
73Inedible dumpling. Bad quality frozen product. When confronted about it, the staff said that they make the dumpling in house and did not care about the fact that we left 9 out 10 dumplings in the plate. Save your money and tastebuds for somewhere else.
Outstandingly friendly staff, EFTPOS, crazily tasty food, slightly packed but I'm sure to visit whenever I can.
I'm there usually twice a week and my favourites are the steamed or fried beef and veggie dumplings. Simple and delicious.
Best fried chicken and prawns dumplings in box hill! Have gone to this restaurant since it opened! Cheap prices for the food servings and quality! Always cooked quick and served hot and tasty all the time! The chilli beef is my favourite and the crispy chicken ribs and crispy duck is amazing with a serving of rice! The lamb and cumin is an another dish with either rice or noodles and the pumpkin pancakes too! The owners David and Anne are such sweet and respectful people and wish only the best to them both! You won’t regret it!
This place was amazing! Very quick at everything, Walked in the door and immediately got greeted and seated. The food came quick and was delicious! 10/10 highly recommend!
Great food. Well priced. Favourites are chicken and prawn fried dumplings and Shanghai noodles.
On of my top dumpling restaurants in Melbourne! Great prices and even better taste. It can get busy at night but usually always a free table during the day. Staff are polite and helpful. A must if you just want some yummy dumplings while going through Box Hill!
Delicious food and very quick service. Arrived at about 6pm and the restaurant was about half full. Dishes took about 10 mins to arrive after ordering which is very reasonable.
The dishes were tasty and very authentic. However the red bean pancake tasted store bought which was a little upsetting but I guess lots of places do that for their desserts.
All in all a great place with well priced menu items. Would call in advance if going in a group larger than 4 as seating is quite limited and fills up pretty quickly at peak meal times.
Very quick service, excellent prices and generous portion sizes. Love their steamed dumplings - the beef steamed dumplings are a must try and quality has not changed over the years. Actually travelled across town from the western suburbs for that.
Service was great. Tea is good. Food is overwhelmingly average, very white/westernised. Fried won tons were frozen. This wasn't something we expected to see in Box Hill, maybe in an outer suburb but not Box Hill.
A small joint hidden in amongst a myriad of dumpling places on station Street. The initial service wasn't great but it was saved by the good food and the speed at which they followed. All in all it was an enjoyable experience.
Cheap but delicious food. Good portion sizes and free tea as well. Staff are always friendly. Open all day so if you need dumplings at 3.00pm they are the place to go. Always busy but still a table or two available when I go
I wish they would build a set of apartments on top of this place so I could live there and eat dumplings every day. I can't get enough of them. Last time I visited with some friends and ordered 48 dumplings in total and 4 main dishes. Fed all 3 of us (two of us who eat like a horse) for under $100. Never been disappointed by the food and the quality is consistent.
