Lu Yang Dumpling House

Another good choice of restaurant for dumplings & Shanghai fried noodles in Box Hill. Their service is fast, & the dishes are quick enough to arrive to us in less than 15 mins right after the food order as usual. I actually prefer their hot tea served there the most, among other Chinese restaurants in this area.

Not sure how this place has so many great reviews. Tried it again for the first time in years and was reminded why we stopped coming here. The food was very bland and even if you're looking for something cheap there's far better options in box hill. Won't be going back.

Well priced, however the vegetarian options aren’t amazing. Food was fast to come out, would probably go elsewhere if you are vegetarian.

Chicken & shrimp dumplings and beef & veggies rice noodles. Both are so delicious! Love it. Highly recommend!

One of the first dumpling places I tried in Box Hill area and has since set a standard for me. Juicy delicious dumplings for a steal. I would highly recommend this place.

Seafood soup is delish, loved it! The dumplings are pretty good too, I loved the option of trying out all the dumplings in one go (sampler).

This is the most amazing dumpling place I have ever been to. The food has changed my life, my perspectives on Chinese food. It just blew my mind.

I’m part of the regular Sunday night crowd who go 3 times a month. Thank you so much to the staff who deal with us taking up a third of their restaurant and being generally chaotic. It’s always fun but due to the building materials it echoes like no tomorrow which can cause sensory overload very quickly. If you’re sensitive to noise i recommend having headphones on standby to cope with the noise.

While I have been here on only two occasions I must say that this place has the most amazing dumplings I have ever had, the staff was very friendly too and service took a very short time considering the number of people that were currently in the establishment. Make sure to come with an empty stomach!

Tasty stir-fried beef noodles (干炒牛和), I enjoyed the wokhei thoroughly and the portion size was more than satisfactory. Keep up the good work

Delicious food and very reasonably priced. Food was promptly served. Had the stir fried rice noodle with beef and pan fried dumplings. Highly recommend to try.

Food was perfect for price paid.
Tasty dumplings, fresh and authentic. Prawn and Pork were amazing!
Eggplant dish was great but we changed the rice to crispy thin yellow noodle (extra cost.) It was incredible!
Tea was hot and cheap BYO corkage.

The food tastes great and the prices are reasonable. I eat here every weekend and it is enjoyable without pinching the pocket.

Best food we have ever eaten! Table service was fast and everything was very fresh and tasty. We had the beef with rice noodles, steamed chicken and prawn dumplings, fried won tons and honey chicken. Everything was 5 star! We will be back here very soon.

OMG, the food is just delicious. Dumplings are perfect. Noodles. Vegetarian options are magnificent! It is clearly a family run restaurant, friendly service. Awesome value for money! Highly recommend! Definitely worth the visit!

The food was incredible, couldn’t fault the meal at all. It was very busy and they team that were working were ran off their feet. Although so busy, the servers didn’t make us feel rushed and always apologised if there was a delay.

The xiaolongbao, hands down the best ones we have ever eaten.

Honey chicken was cooked perfectly, clean oil, super crunchy and very moist.

Chilli dumplings 10/10, blew our socks off in a good way.

Overall a fantastic meal, with great friendly service. Would highly recommend!
