Lower Plenty Hotel

Food never came waited 2 hours and they offered me grilled cheese sandwiches and a refund on my meal had to go to maccas for dinner!

This fantastic hotel is amazing its very modern the food here is brilliant its super tasty and will leave your mouth salivating the food here is super tasty and will leave you wanting more it has a kids play room the sports bar is great if you were looking for a great night out with great food I highly recommend the lower plenty hotel the staff are friendly and will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello the service here is excellent set in the heart of lower plenty

Booked a table for a family dinner on Friday 29th January at 1930 seated well. That was the end of the good points. Placed order of three mains, 2 adults and 1 kids meal. Also an entree and drinks.
Kids meal came out same time as entree, why? Daughter had finished her mains before ours had even come out. Adult meals not served at same time either.
Meals done, ordered dessert. Again three deserts and again one came out, and finished, before the other two. Apparently there was problems in the kitchen getting a sundae and a tiramisu. Don’t suppose it matters are they are always busy so one unhappy table is no big deal. Will not be back.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but we paid for our desserts and never had coffees, not sure who got the free stuff but it sure as wasn't us.

Surely if we wanted the kids meal first we would have requested that, never have i heard of anyplace that needs you to request meals are served together, tip for young players i guess.

1st time dining at the terrace bar. Lovely views. Bar staff were friendly & professional. I had the southern fried chicken burger- it was delish!
Does The Lower allow dogs at the terrace bar? I’d love to go back in the future.

Visited Lower Plenty Hotel multiple times. Always a good time! Harder to get a booking lately due to number restrictions, completely understand that is out of venues hand.

Great place ; service, food, child playground, very clean and organized staff. Highly recommended

Beautiful views. Nice food.enjoyed the beers on the Tap and the views. Can be crowded and hence best to book a table in advance

Place was clean but meals were average think it’s time for a new menu as it’s the first time we have been out for dinner and not one of us finished our meal due to being average

The service was friendly but unprofessional. The covid martial sprayed disinfectant all over my wifes legs when she tried to wipe down our table instead of spraying into he cloth. When my drink was brought out there was dried sauce on the side of the glass. When they brought the food out my wifes chips were cold and there was a long hair entwined in the steak of her sandwich. The waitress also forgot to bring cutlery with the food and i ended up trying to cut a parma with a butter knife that i had to fetch for myself. The parma was average and the garlic bread starter was quite dry. The steak sandwich did taste good though until the hair was discovered in it.overall quite disappointed in my experience there

Sitting on the Terrace, in the mottled sunshine with a cold beverage & tasty food. Could (almost) be 'normal'!
Great afternoon spent catching up with family at a relaxed, funky pub.

Below average parmigiana and they give you a few thick cut chips with it. Used to be good and they used to have a Canadian club mix on tap but they stopped it for whatever reason. Way too overpriced now ($36 for a pint and a parmi)

Nicely renovated, clean and great play space for kids. Not a huge selection of beers, and the one they consider “craft” are over priced for what they are.

A hotel with food and beer, and a cage to lock the kids in while you eat, drink and responsibly gamble away their inheritance.

It's a shame that both the bistro and venue managers are so rude as the food is amazing.
Booked a while ago for Father's Day lunch and requested to be seated near the playroom. When we got there, we were seated next to the front door. When we questioned it, we were told by the Manager (Paul) to "just sit down and enjoy your day". I pointed out that the Manager had an issue with me as I organise for groups of seniors to visit for the Morning Melodies program and last time we had an issue with how much we were charged. It would take something special for me to return

Manager and some staff were rude and didn't alknowlege us for a while, didn't seem to like that we had kids. A few staff members were nice. Food was great and came out fast for a big table. Kids area is great and well looked over by staff. Modern and clean restaurant

Handed in my membership back Will NEVER EVER return again super rude staff. I loved this place shame a few ruined it

Disgraceful service. I had a birthday voucher as I am a member they declined me using my voucher because I lost my card. Today is my birthday and I got a ring around after ring around of service there was no training to the staff at all.the manager finally sorted out new card for me this place is absolutely horrendous with service. The manager did what she had to but she was blunt and really didn't give a f**k.

Great place for kids to play. Food is ridiculously overpriced and underwhelming. Kitchen staff could care less about the food. Decor is modern and spacious. Floor staff are lovely and very accommodating.
