Loving Hut Northcote / Brother Bon

I loved the food and the staff, they were lovely, the food is soo tasty and very a well designed menu, the only thing I regretted was that I have not come before:)

While food and service was excellent as 'loving hut, ' the quality and portion size has deteriotated; disappointing, especially as prices are high for this food.
Stated closing times are unreliable and kitchen staff neglect to respect 'special instructions'.
Such a shame, as this used to be my favourite restaurant.

Lovinghut relaunched as Brother Bon. I tried a few classic dished which were also on the LH menu, the flavour has improved a lot (like… how can you make it even better) the new Fish n chips just mind-blowing. I am not vegan but pestcatarian, they really trick me for this one the new look is a highlight, if you come in at the golden hour, there will be some beautiful light filling the space

Amazing choice of vegan food, super healthy or 'fun' like poutine and fried chicken. Love the mushroom Bao and chicken curry with roti. Lovely staff. Great for vegans or non. Loved it

My partner and I are always on the look out for fully vegan restaurants and have been to many in our time. But Brother Bon is hands down the best we've ever been to! We're completely blown away. And the prices are so reasonable for the quality and serving sizes. We'll be back, likely every weekend, for ever more!

Amazing food. Everything was full of flavour and fresh. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Place was absolutely packed which is always a good sign. Loved it!

The long wait is over where they have renamed themselves from Loving Hut to Brother Bon!

Where they have now incorporated brunch and liquor!

Definitely a new chilled vegan atmosphere.

The food is just sensational and flavourful with their mock meats. My personal favourite is the Japanese curry on white rice with duck.

I've yet to try out their brunch menu in which I'll be coming back very soon.

Definitely recommendable place to satisfy your tummy even if your not vegan, you won't be disappointed.

We had the Chili Scrambled Tofu and the Magic Mushroom both were absolutely delicious and were a generous serve we will be coming again and again breakfast lunch and dinner sorted! They've really done up the place is now very inviting with the same lovely staff as before what are you waiting for?

Honestly, the service from Bec brings us back as much as the great food. She takes being a waitress to the next level, does it with such passion, charisma, flare and humour. It is clear Bec cares about providing a great service and we always leave Loving Hut with a great taste in our mouth because of it. Gold star for this staff member who made our night tonight.

My favourite and go to place to eat out. Ever. We joke about how every date night ends up being Loving Hut.

One of our favourite vegan places to go. It's our to go. Consistent food, good value and friendly staff. Just wish they would open later than 21h30.

Extremely good food, consistently high quality and very tasty. The breaded duck is the most delicious thing ever! Highly recommended this place.

Had a lovely veggie meal here with as friend. I ate at a loving hut in London (England) and am happy the quality was just as good. I had a "meat" roll as a main and two desserts (I couldn't decide which would be nicer so had one you take away). Friendly staff. Really good value filled my vegan self up and my non-veggie friend was just as satisfied with her main meal. Highly recommend even if you're not veggie.

Soooo good! I’m not a vegan. I’m not even a vegetarian. This was some of the best food I’ve had in ages and really decently priced. Staff were also really friendly and nice. Really simple looking restaurant and not the most comfortable seats but totally worth it for the food. Southern faux chicken was my favourite.better tasting then real chicken and I’m a meat eater!

The Restraunt, have great variety menu - according to the Seasonal changes as follows: Soup, light stacks, main courses, sweets, cold and hot drinks. Their staffs are Friendly, Helpful to all the customers.

Great selection of vegan food. If you are curious about vegan food then this is a great place to start. Love the broken rice and the Japanese curry. Staff are warm and friendly.
