Very professional, and excellent work. The lady at the store offered her suggestions on shortening 2 pairs of jeans. I’m not too savvy on how jeans and runners should look, so I was happy to go with her advice. I was very happy with the results:) Store is just to the right of Big W.

Expensive and shockingly bad work on my skirt. Had it pinned at the back to bring in waist and taper down. When I took it home realised they had just folded the side over a pocket and sowed it up. The skirt had side pockets and was now lopsided with half a pocket on one side, the waist elastic didn’t align at the join and it looked like I had a lump on my side. This cost me $65. Unfortunately I couldn’t take it back as I was travelling the following day and had intended to wear the skirt on my holidays which I couldn’t. On my return I took it to a lady in Deer park who undid the mess and took in as I requested from the back for $35 and did a perfect job. She will be my go to from now on.

I used to come here for years and dealt with the ladies with the Asian background, their prices were fair and they were pleasant to deal with. Ever since this Caucasian lady started working there, I’ve been there twice. She is extremely rude and the prices have tripled. Sunline alterations, located near Aldi is so much cheaper. Keilor downs is half the price of what they charge also. I wanted to get my 2 year olds outfit taken in - $135 she quoted me. When she told me the price I politely declined and she aggressively took the pins out of the outfit while he was wearing it. I went to Keilor downs, was charged $55. Now from reading the reviews, I know that my experience is was not isolated.

Very expensive but they do a good job. Pretty sure they rip off customers though because evrytime I go they just make up a different price. Their pricing isn't transparent. There's no price guide.

Rude, make up their own prices.my daughter wanted a dress hem put up cotton nothing major $65. I decided not to go a head so the money had to be refunded. The lady at the counter expressed how she didn’t want to deal with that (meaning us super rude). Went to keilor and hem put up for $30 big difference. Will never return

An extremely a doggy place. Rang and asked them they iron a suit and what the charges were. The womasaid it was $20. The next day when I brought my suit to get it ironed, the woman there said it was $25. Her excuse was the other woman who answered the phone would not have understood what was required. I expressed my displeasure for such dubious actions.

Shocking service myself and a couple mates got pants altered here they made the waist to small to the point where the pants don’t fit and want us to pay again to fix there mistakes, scam artists shouldn’t be in business

Overpriced and extremely rude staff, yelled at us because we requested a refund due to a change of mind. Did not mention or have any notice of a service fee upon refund. Disguted.do not recommend

Really Pathetic service experienced today by this store today. No wonder why this store has so many bad reviews. The way this business is going, soon it will have no customers.

Make sure to carry CASH for them otherwise they will turndown your sale and make your day awful. Never going back there even if its for free. Should be reporting these people to the taxation authorities.

I really hope one day these people get treated the same way how they treat their customers.

You do nt take money upfront for a service that you do not provide.
Second you need to quote correctly and not give several price very bad customer service.that's why I did nt use you.poor

A close friend of mine went to get a dress altered here, needing it taken out and I am absolutely DISGUSTED in the attitude that the employers at this store had towards her. To body shame someone, calling them fat, poke at their body and instruct them on how to eat is absolutely appalling! I do not recommend this service to anyone unless they want to leave feeling devastated with no body confidence.

Really worth it! Happy with my altered shirt and the tailor made it a perfect fit according to my needs. Just explain each and everything to the tailor and you gonna get the job done!

I took a dress to be altered, removing the front buttons for a zip top make it breast feeding friendly. They did a great job, quickly and for a great price. I would recommend.

Brought a pair of $1200 pants to be repaired. Instead of installing a patch below the tear and then using an invisible stitch to close up the tear they cross stitched back and forth along a huge space effectively ruining the appearance of the pants. I imagine they would be good at repairing inexpensive garments but I wouldn't trust them with anything valuable or important. Also communication between the lady at the desk and the seamstresses is awful. No notes or instructions from customers are passed onto them. There are far more professional tailors and seamstresses in the area taking far more attention to detail. Unless your 10 year old needs his school pants hemmed I'd avoid this place.

Definitely would not recommend. Very disappointed with the customer service.

I came here thinking I would walk away with accurate measurements and I thought I would feel confident when ordering my wedding dress but I came away feeling so much worse.

She rushed the measurements and kept changing her mind when measuring. At one point the tape was really twisted which I mentioned however I was ignored. The lady was also not aware of what basic measurements were required for a wedding dress, somehow she didn't think to measure under the bust. Also she had another customer record the measurements which seemed really odd.

I was so uncomfortable during this experience and I could tell I was wasting my time and money, so I went elsewhere and had the measurements checked multiple times. The difference was ridiculous. I am confused how a "professional" can get measurements so wrong.

After going home I got in contact with the company who told me to go back and get them redone but why would I want to go back to someone who I'm not confident with? I replied stating the issues I had (that I've written about above) and they then ignored my message.

I don't believe I've ever written a review but the customer service was so appalling, I felt as though I had to. I also felt it was fair of me to contact them first and give them a chance to resolve the issue.

Anyway please do not rely on this store if you need accurate measurements for something as important as your wedding dress. Go somewhere else, don't take the risk!

Just to let you know be aware that there is a $30 service fee for getting a quote. I didn't read the notice on the wall and had to pay a service fee because I thought that my alteration was a bit much for me at $325 for a deb dress alternation.

Had two pair of pants tailored (one that was originally 3 sizes too big) and they have done amazing jobs both times. Prices are worth it

I brought a long patent leather coat to have the shoulders adjusted as the coat was too oversized. I was charged $165 (which I was sort of expecting). One needs to expect that leather or faux leather tailoring will be more expensive than typical tailoring jobs because of the material and other things, so I was happy to pay for it. The receptionist/ shop assistant didn't measure the garment with any tape (she kind of just lifted it into place and used some clips), but she was mindful of avoiding creasing of the material and making sure it was what I wanted. I was asked to come back two days later. Upon collection, It was ready and very well done - even and no loose threads.

Overall, good turn over rate, friendly staff and pleasant experience. No errors or mistakes that I can see. May bring in some vintage pieces to be adjusted in the near future.

Terrible work and overpriced. I took 3 pairs of my sons school shorts here to be taken up. I was asked did I want them cut and sewn which I replied yes. I was charged more for them to be cut and taken up. When I picked them up I didn’t check them. On the first day my son wore them we noticed none of the shorts were cut and sewn. They left the hems way to long and also they didn’t take up to the length I asked so the shirts r still way to long. I will never use this service again. They did not deliver and now the shirts which were expensive look
Ridiculous. Very bad job.
