Lonsdale Eco Cruise

Fantastic afternoon cruise to experience Gippsland Lakes. We were fortunate to see sea lions dolphins many birds along the cruise. Tony gave a great commentary andnits true what they say Mels scones delicious.

Lovely afternoon on the 3 hour eco cruise, very informative, smooth waters and beautiful wildlife and scenery. And the scones freshly baked were the best ever.
What a great team. Will definitely do this cruise again.

For a last minute decision we were so happy with the tour. So much information about the land and lakes from the skipper and Jen’s hospitality was second to none. OMG those scones were amazing thank you! These tours are an experience for the soul and they are calming as well as bloody educational. Loved all the wildlife and seals. You gotta try it. Lovely afternoon with Mel’s scones the highlight. Tony’s knowledge of the local flora & fauna and the history of the place is par excellence and he gave a non stop 2 hour commentary. Overall completely worth it.

Was a very informative and interesting cruise. Fantastic and knowledgeable hosts. Would recommend. Note it's 3hrs so if you don't have patient kids take colouring in or something

The Cruise was fantastic Tony knows the full History of Lake Entrance and the places we saw and the bird and wildlife was amazing on the cruise also Melinda was very friendly and her scones were amazing and she is very friendly its worth the cruise

We went on the 3 hour cruise that sailed from 1pm, and it was amazing. Really informative tour and we ended up seeing seals and dolphins. Never in my life have I seen a dolphin that close beforehand. Mels scones are to die for aswell. Awesome.

What a great way to spend an afternoon. We chose to sit downstairs as the weather was cloudy and a bit windy. Plenty of seals to be seen at the "entrance" plus many many swans, cygnets, kangaroos and other birdlife during the cruise. Tour up to Metung and back with a 3 hour non stop commentary from Captain Tony. Plenty of hot coffee on board and the scones were to die for. (well done Mel)

A great experience, from initial contact to leaving the cruise. The ECO Cruise started from inside the Lakes Entrance harbour and ended as we returned, with animals and birds pointed out by commentary as we travelled the lower Lakes. Scones were made onboard and served with fruit and cream. Coffee/tea was available throughout.

Awesome boat cruise. The couple who run this are the best. Such an informative cruise and so much fun. You even get fresh scones. They also allowed our little dog who was well behaved. Definitely recommend this cruise, you will not be disappointed. Thank you:)

Really enjoyed the cruise. We were fortunate enough to find the dolphins pods, seals and migratory birds. Mel’s scones is a definite highlight. 3 hrs is bit too much but you won’t be bored for 2 hrs for sure. Really enjoyed.

Wonderful cruise enjoyed every moment. Loved all the comentry of the Lakes and the history very informative. Luckily we saw seals and lots of dolphins and birds. Delicious Scones with cream and cup's of tea very relaxing. Will recommend the cruise to everyone. Thank you.

Perfect ways to spend an afternoon! Lots to see and was very educational in terms of information relating to Gippsland Lakes! Afternoon was a delight with freshly made scones made onboard Also dog friendly if you call and make a booking prior to your cruise. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this boat tour for anyone 3+ hours with very descriptive knowledgeable guides seeing lots of interesting landscapes and wildlife including seals dolphins bird life etc. Served the largest nicest scone I've ever eaten with and cream.
Would go again anytime I'm back in Lakes Entrance. You won't be disappointed.
