Sophie Marsh was our property manager for over 3 years in Melbourne, she was extremely responsive to any issues we had with our rental property whether it be emergency plumbing, or requests for upgrades or maintenance in the apartment. She always responded quickly and organised whatever needed to be done in a prompt and efficient manner. I can only hope our next property manager is as good as Sophie!

Absolute horrid experience. Chris Parsons, a real estate agent I would never want to deal with ever again, absolute worse, always an aggressive tone, lack of empathy, zero cooperation and doesn't know how a handover works. Wouldn't recommend them.

I know its late for me to leaving the review but its never late than never. You cannot trust these people, they will show something else and will handover something different. And they are good in taking advantage of someone's situation. I signed a lease without seeing the flat, just on their trust. There was a lockdown and i requested them to show me a flat but they didnt let me see. I was staying in a hotel so signed the lease with some conditions. When i got the key the flat's carpet was not in a liveable condition, the surrounding in the apartment were too dirty. I refused to take the handover. And these people were so heartless, that they asked me to go to their office to drop the keys in the lockdown. After my emails, calls and negotiation they deducted $500 (from $1300 to $500) for nothing. I was new in Australia so wasnt worried much about
the money but living condition so i accepted the offer. Please be careful while working with them.

Having the most joyous experience as a tenant of LongView. They are so lovely to deal with and bring a bit of flavour to the industry! Highly recommend.

We've been renting a house for well over a year in Craigieburn, Victoria, and LongView have been very good as managing agents in terms of fast response to any enquiry, fast resolution of any house maintenance, for example, air con, heating etc and in providing extremely good and astute advice.

I am so pleased that I made the switch. I initially had an online provider who provided service at a lower cost; however I noticed overtime the quality and knowledge was missing. When it came down to what was important, they were not getting me what I needed in time, were not proactive in their approach and had to be prompted - I felt forgotten. Then my tenants had decided to give notice, to which I found out five days later, and I was asked if I wanted to release? OFCOURSE! So I went on the search for a new agent.

I found Megan from Long View through Local Agent Finder, and from the first phone call, I could tell her experience was incredible. She knew about my property already through research; before I signed up, she had provided me with a total market appraisal and had even called with potential new tenants. Not long after, I decided to switch; within a couple of days, she talked to my previous tenants, arranged the move-out, and worked with them to try virtual inspections due to lockdown. They were due to move out on the 7th, and I had only signed up for Longview two weeks prior. Megan got the listing up on the 3rd, and within only five days, she has leased it virtually at a price higher than I was expecting. The new tenants are moving in on the 10th, and her communication throughout the process has been excellent.

Aside from this, the long views sign-on process was straightforward; they have a fantastic way of getting references and understanding tenants; they have years and years of experience in their team and focus entirely on property managing.

There are a lot of expenses that go into getting a property ready for sale, selling that property and then buying a new one. Without a doubt the money spent on Longview was by far the best money we have spent.
Wawrick Lou and the Longview team helped guide us through this entire process while we were based in regional Victoria and we honestly could not have done it without them. From advice on pre sale fix ups, managing the real estate agent, going to inspect houses for us and then findings the house that suited our needs and budget - they were incredible. We benefited from their deep industry knowledge, experience, access to real estate data and personal relationships with agents across Melbourne.
