Long Dragon Dumpling House reviews
79Small place that's easy to miss. Went here with office colleagues and wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious. Had the vegetarian fried noodle, vegetable dumplings, chicken and pork dumpling, black bean beef, fried tofu and salt calamari. The noodle was my favourite. Go here for a tasty, quick meal.
1.special fried rice and wonton soup is AMAZING
2.the people are so wholesome and nice
3.the food is great authentic and cheap considering its in the city
4.great vibes
Fantastic quality food! Dumplings packed a punch with intensely delicious flavour & the beef noodle brisket was heavenly. Highly recommended this establishment, topped off with cheerful service.
Went here for late lunch. Freshly made on the spot. Chilli beef with rice, yum! We had fried dumplings and dumpling soup. Very very good. Very clean and staff lovely
Consistently yummy Shanghainese food at reasonable price. We always ordered fried pork ribs in garlic sauce (super crispy), braised beef on rice (super tasty) and hot sour soup with pork dumplings (great value) for two people. This is definitely a hidden gem, highly recommended!
This is always our first choice for Chinese - I don't know how many times we've been, maybe 15 and never been disappointed Quick, priced well, friendly and delicious - a perfect combination Can't wait to come back
Alway the most amazing food here! Love it and love the staff, all so lovely! You must try the calamari, yummo - our fave!
Cheap and on the table in 5 minutes, this place isn't much to look at externally, but as my dad always used to say, if you see a lot of single Asian guys eating at a Chinese restaurant it means its got good food and good prices.
I didn't spend much time here, and I don't actually order anything, I was there to see a friend, but the place is very nice and the workers seem very friendly, so although I haven't eaten here, I do recommend it based on service and appearance:).
Thank you
This place has 10/10 dumplings! All of their food has an essence of home cooking to it, and its brilliant!
I liked to order online for pick up using their great website.
I will definitely miss this place now that I no longer live in South Melbourne.
Very good. Definitely one of the best dumplings restaurants in Melbourne. Dumplings are definitely made in-house, unlike some who opt for contract makers elsewhere! The dumplings in hot and sour soup is really good. If you like hot food, this is a must order!
These are the best dumplings, little pillows if love. Hand made every day. Definitely a hidden treasure
Venue was super clean, and the food was amazing! Some of the best dumplings we've had. Also the food came out ridiculously fast. Would love to visit again! A+
Good fast service. Dumpling skin was a little thick for my liking but the Shanghai noodle was delicious.
Delicious dumplings (we had the chicken and prawn), good noodles, free jasmine tea. Quick service, cheap prices. Overall pretty good!
Dumplings in hot and sour soup, and the sliced rice cakes are our go to staples here. Tastes authentic, prices are very reasonable and fast service.
Very authentic dumpling house in South Melbourne, nearly forgot I was actually in Australia and not Asia.
Good little place for dumplings. The prawn spring rolls were a standout. The dim sims near the back page of the menu seemed like the frozen kind you buy at the supermarkets.
So this is not a place you go to to enjoy the decor, the ambience or the witty bartender, you come here for the dumplings and bao. The dumplings are superb, as are the wonton. I have been lucky to eat Xi Long Bao all over Asia, including in the Michelin stared Din Tai Fung in HK, and IMHO the mini pork bao that I ate tonight are as good as Din Tai Fung, if not better. Go there, eat, enjoy.
