The dumplings were the best I’ve ever had! Good size, crispy and delish! The satay sauce was also incredible. Service was great, friendly.

Well I ordered take away to pick up and I arrive on time of text message ready to find me standing there for 3min whilst everyone were on their phones. I ordered steamed veggie dumplings and pork and chicken fried dumplings. I live 8 min in walk from there so by the time I got home and ate the dumplings were chewy, the veggie dumplings ended up fried not sure why!
I wouldn’t get take away again I would dine In unless you’re eating dumplings within 5min. I loved both dumplings but the veggie need to be steamed as I asked for
Will go back to dine in unless I get the steamed dumplings as they seem very nice people lacking some attention to detail. Maybe they need a doorbell

By far the best dumplings in Melbourne I saw the owners having lunch and I was amazed how big and authentic they looked and decided to grab a take away frozen bag. I could say these are the best I have tried. They don't stick to the oan when frying and puff up like proper dumplings should. I ended up grazing 4 bag a couple days later. They have very tradition Chinese meals and a cost that will never be beaten especially in south Melbourne. It reminds me of an traditional Chinese restaurant doesn't need to be a fancy atmosphere all we need is good home cooked Chinese food and this is the place to be.

This dumpling restaurant I come here to eat every time I give my cat a bath. It’s delicious.

Not sure if it's normal here. But my pork dumplings in hot and sour soup was served in a plastic bowl.

Came here with friends, they rave about the dumplings and now I know why.

Been coming here for over 10 years and the quality of the food has always been above average. Fantastic dumplings and great rice dishes including the fried rice with Shanghai bacon and the sweet and sour pork ribs. Also do a fantastic chilli beef.

The aunty is super friendly and is always very nice to our son.

Disappointed. Dumpling was cooked to White people's taste i am afraid. Not quite authentic chinese If that's what you are after.

Haven’t been here for years and the food still taste good. We enjoyed every dish except the red bean pancake (not in picture). It was a dessert.
Service was good, the lady was very accommodating and nice to see her chatting with all the customers in the restaurant.
Price was very reasonable and will no doubt be back if we are nearby.

Yum, really great food. Served hot and super tasty. Not a great dining spot unfortunately, right on Kings way - noisy traffic but you just have to bare it to enjoy these scrumptious dumplings and spicy rice (amongst many other favourites).

Tak away duck was flavoursome but skin soggy so disappointing;hard is it to make the skin crispy?

Table for 4, we had Chicken and prawn dumplings, vege dumplings, Chilli beef, sweet n sour chicken, Chilli pork noodles and vegetarian noodles. All were amazing and the chicken dumplings were next Level. Service is fast, food is fantastic. Not Licensed so bring your own bottle of wine.

Great food.constantly excellent. All the classics plus lots of home style options that you won't find anywhere else.my very fussy son who was raised on dumplings and has eaten at pretty much every Chinese restaurant within 10km of the cbd rates long dragon dumplings as the absolute best.

Long Dragon Dumpling House is amazing. The dumplings are sooo tasty. Very cheap for a great amount too (approx $14 for 18 vegetable dumplings) The food is very fresh as well. Can't wait to go back again! Love it.

Long Dragon Dumpling had on their menu a large range of dumplings and other popular Chinese dishes. I’d been here a few times and tried a few meals; the pork & chicken/prawn dumplings, the shanghai crispy duck, fried ribs, sweet & sour pork ribs, beans with pork mince etc. The food seemed to be consistently good although overall pretty average. I found the dumplings to be cheaper and tastier in Chinatown, but logistically it was easier to find parking in the area, and the venue was generally comfortably quiet. Service was friendly and quick, making it a nice casual dinner spot.

I come here specifically for the crispy pan fried pork dumplings. After tarring about Melbourne and checking out all the dumplings the pan fried ones here are the meatiest and crispiest around.
They have plenty of other options on the menu and I’m sure they are all just as good.
They come out quickly after ordering and hot to scoff.

5 special twinkling stars for the best pan fried pork dumplings I've had in my LIFE (and in Melbourne). We have eaten these here over 5 times now (lost count) and we've never been disappointed. The chilli oil and soy sauce lifts up the overall flavour of the dish to the next level. Happy taste buds. Complete umami. I'm never going to stop eating the pan fried pork dumplings from here, that's for sure

I'm a big dumpling eater, I've eaten many many dumplings, and these are the best I've ever eaten! We ordered on Uber Eats and it's now our weekly order. I don't know how they do it, but yum! I highly recommend the pan fried pork, pan fried chicken and prawn dumplings, and the pork buns are a must try chefs kiss!

Have had better Chinese food in small country towns. Chinese style prison food vibes. Not that cheap.

Best fired dumplings I've ever had. I asked a staff member which were his favourite non spicy noodles and I was recommended the shanghai noodles (with pork) and it's now my favourite.
