Overpriced & overcooked noodles. Safe yourself the hassle, the difference between the Original Laksa ($20.20 with 1.5% surcharge, of course) and the single (no meat) is about ~$6 and 3 prawns. Get a real laksa at Laksa King instead.

Gobsmacked by the service staff. I wanted a small bowl of soup to go with my $20 noodles, which was not Michelin star grade. They wanted to charge me for a small serve of soup, which is already sitting in a large pot. Kudos to the way you run business and customer service.

Absolutely LOVE the food here, my third meal here, so they deserve a Good review. I stick to my staple rice, BBQ chicken, Aubergine curry, mixed veggies & Tofu and Chicken curry. Last time I had a Nasi Lemak. The cold coffee here is the BEST in Melbourne (according to me). It's located in Westfield Doncaster, so please don't expect atmosphere! Come here with a hungry stomach and you will Love It and the Coffee will keep you going for hours

Lunch was pretty average as the Fish Katong Laksa was extremely oily, flavourless and the fish pieces or photo of the dish on the menu was nowhere close as to my purchased dish. I asked the guy at the counter what fish they use and he seemed irritated by my question. Perhaps a friendly feedback and customer service could be introduce to the staff. I didn’t get the yellow thick noodles instead had a bowl with thin white noodles which simply turned to be soggy. Not a good experience as I was so looking forward to this dish!

I must admit, its the best chicken rice i had in Melb.
Though if it's served hot/warm, that would be much better; when our dishes were served, the rice and chicken were quite cold already

A typical food court quality. Not something I will miss to order food from here again though. - soft shell crab Laksa $19.50

My hainanese chicken rice was not the best I’ve had but still good, broth wasn’t super intense so you had to layer it for some real flavour. My boyfriends Original prawn laksa got a big thumbs up. The broth and noodles were nice when I had a taste. Food came quickly. Can’t complain

Food is very average here. Michelin star, sorry, I don't think so. Had the nasi lemak with fish, and I have to say I've had better. It actually looks better than it tastes. Sambal was okay, and rice was not bad. However, the fish.was very disappointing as I believe it's frozen fish.it was dry and not fresh fish. Pricing is also very average as the amount of food one gets is not worth the price paid. All in all, it may give it another chance but at a later stage.

Had the Soft shell crab Laksa (crab served on the side). Soup had lots of flavour, it was creamy enough and right amount of heat. The crab was nice once you dipped it in the soup. Overall a nice meal. Laksa is all about the sauce and this was very nice. I'll be back to try more of the menu.

Highly recommend for this unassuming yet authentically Singaporean. We randomly selected some local classics and was surprised by the quality of each dish and of all places, a food court! Well done!

Just happy this place exists. Closest thing to a hawker centre we have in Melbourne and I'll take it. Was surprised they even had otak otak. On the other side of the kuehs they sell skewers reminiscent of the menu at Old Chang Kee. Come here if you're craving for hawker centre/street/subway food from SG.

Ordered Nasi beef Rendang. Looked like the beef was over heated. More peanut than anchovies. Very basic.

Given that they opened not too long ago and have been there a couple of times, their food is way too inconsistent and ain't exactly value for money as compared to other establishments.

I had the Michelin star approved 36H Pork Belly Dry Noodle. I was sceptical at first, but it is actually really good. It costs $18.50 and the kopi (Singaporean? Style coffee) is just $1.90.

Never had a Michelin star approved dish before, so I got nothing to compare with (well we don’t have Michelin star restaurant here in Australia, so this is the closest thing, I suppose)

The noodle sauce itself has a sweet caramel taste with soy sauce based. The noodle is cooked very nicely, chewy and yet soft enough (al dente?).

I think it is worth it. Maybe if it cheaper like $15, I would go here like almost everyday.

Keen to try more of their dishes

I tried the mixed rice (hainanese chicken and roast pork) for $19.90. As far as food court experiences go, this was pretty satisfying! Food tasted like what you would get in Singapore, portions were huge, price is typical for Australia. I’m rating this place based on what it currently is - a hawker / food court establishment. I would be happy to come back. My only suggestion is smaller serving sizes because I don’t like food waste but I’m sure there are people out there who would disagree.

I usually eat Malaysia laksa however came across this one during my trip in Melbourne. Unique taste and different noodle (not vermicelli)! Just the right level of thickness in the soup - not too thick and not too runny!
Really satisfying overall and wish they have a store in Sydney!

Hainan chicken very good!
However the crab was very oily and overcooked, laksa was ok

Loved the large original laksa. Waited 20mins on a Sunday and 10% surcharge. Also had the bbq wanton dry noodle which was slightly smaller portion for similar price to laksa. That's my only complaint for $18.90 the laksa was more worth it. Chendol chempadek was ok except it needed more gula melaka. I ordered the rempah udang, Ang ku Kueh and otah.
